Any reason why got got the regular 3770 over the K version?

Any reason why got got the regular 3770 over the K version?

Was looking for a big enough upgrade from my old computer (oh that computer did give me a lot of troubles the last years), was long between a i5 or a i7, then between the i7 3770 and i7 3770k.
Also I did get an advice from my brother that the regular was good enough, no need to go for the best (that is also why I did not go for a Titan card).

Seeing back it may be that I did a good choice there if this one is correct http://www.cpu-world.com/Compare/514/Intel_Core_i7_i7-3770_vs_Intel_Core_i7_i7-3770K.html

Well, the K version is a fully unlocked multiplier so you can OC it. If I were in your shoes I would have went with the 3570K as it is cheaper and you can OC it to be much faster than your regular 3770.

Evo i could use of those fans u mentioned in each spot I have the 200mm cm mf?

I would only go with 200mm fans if you aren't pulling/pushing air through a dust filter or very fine grating. Ya live ya learn. I did have a 2x200mm fan setup but the intake 200mm fan was having a seriously tough time sucking air through my Cooler Master HAF 912's front dust filter. So instead I opted for 2x120mm fans that have a high static air pressure along with high CFM. Works MUCH better. I do have the 200mm fan on the top of my case exhausting hot air and that works great as it isn't pushing air through a dust filter or fine grating.

Yeah, read about overclocking it the K version, however me and overclocking do not always turn out too good, then again that was with a graphic card I once tried overclocking after it got trouble running Mass Effect 2, I ended up messed it up even more.
