The spaces between realities!
I thought this deserved it's own thread seeing as how I find this sort of stuff pretty interesting.
We all know that behind the scenes @ the Olympic Games the athletes are finding ways to ugh...'relieve' themselves of the stress.
However...it seems that alot of attention has been brought up surrounding one athlete in particular who has made it well known she is looking for just a hookup.
Hell...she isn't half bad looking either...

Winter Olympics: Snowboarder Rebecca Torr looks for love in Sochi using Tinder app
New Zealand snowboarder Rebecca Torr, who failed to make it into the semifinals of her event, has been tweeting up a storm over Tinder, an app that helps people meet others who are near them. But Torr is hoping to use it to find love and has hopes she can be matched with a member of the Jamaican bobsled team.

Rest can be read here...
Apparently she has a thing for the Jamaican bobsled team...and is looking to hook up with anyone..more so a member/s (LOL) of the Jamaican team. Cool Runnings Indeed!
Athlete in question....23 yrold Torr...

....if this is the norm at Olympic games they might as well name them the 'Hook Up Games'. LOL.
So again society has taught us that anywhere you go in the world you can expect to get some...at least if you are halfway decent looking and use Tinder.

Your thoughts?
Are the Olympic Games a joke these days?
Any of the Athletes caught your eye? :hehe:

I'm positive that a majority of athletes were pounding away at each other long before the internet came around. I personally don't give a f***, but most other people will and it'll cause a s*** storm of embarrassment. Now excuse me while I put on my Jamican hat.

I'd go to Sochi for her.

Really though, a lot of the female athletes I've been seeing are good looking. A lot of the low-20s (same age as me) snowboarder girls and honestly curling has some nice ones too if you can weed them out among the not so good choices.

Got a feeling she is shooting for a reality TV show about her dating.

As long as she uses some of the 100k condoms handed out at the games I say go for it!

I'm not even slightly surprised that it's a New Zealand girl doing that. SMH.

No surprise. They f***ed like rabbits in London and I'm sure in many Olympics before that. This is probably the closest some of these get to socializing due to the life's they have lead since being very young.

And she would get it.

Enlighten me
I would say that courtship in New Zealand doesn't show a lot of difference between the behaviour of men and women, in terms of assertiveness or shyness.

EDIT:
Just did a quick search on Google...

Wikipedia on Promiscuity:
New Zealand women had the highest number of sex partners for females in the world with an average of 20.4 sexual partners. (According to a non-scientific survey.)

Stuff.co.nz
Dating culture is dead - instead, young New Zealand women are regularly getting drunk and cruising around in packs looking for men to have sex with.

Some other opinions:
Former gossip columnist Bridget Saunders, who is writing a book on bad sex, believes New Zealand women are "incredibly sexually active" and is worried by the trend.

Dang, where was this info 15 years ago...

Well, there is the downside, and this is just my personal opinion, but I think NZ girls, while not actually physically uglier, don't put as much effort into their appearances as other nationalities.

Not to sound sexist as if "they should!", but I think everyone should try to look good. Guys who let themselves go and act like sleazy slobs deserve not to get laid. Perhaps with the attitude that they can be the initiator, NZ girls feel they don't have to try to attract a guy, they can just holla.

Damn... all that and Lord of the Ring tours? New Zealand is looking like the greatest nation on Earth right about now.

That is amazing!
Well I guess I know where I'm taking my next vacation.

So are we saying she's not hot? If so I'm confused.

Silje Norendal makes my heart flutter. I would move Heaven and Earth for her.
