As for me, I've been trying to do more local places, and a couple friends of mine run a pop-up restaurant that I've been trying support when they have food to go. Did get McDonald's the other day, but it wasn't busy so it came out delicious. Don't hate

I do like me the outback house of steak....omg, before I was furloughed I had roscos chicken and waffles, heaven they were chicken wings and waffles, who knew said combination could be so good. Fire out of ten

Would you say that fear and respect are the same thing?

I notice that a lot of insecure tough guys use fear and intimidation to get their point across, but they’re always demanding “respect”. Even though there’s literally nothing about them to respect.

They're definitely not the same thing, and if you have to incite fear to get your point across, you'll never actually be respected.

Respect comes with leading by example in my opinion. You have to earn that.

More work is done on assert creation.

Modeling & Texture work completed for coffeemaker & Kitchen cooking stove. Done in Substance painter if anyone is interested. I haven't use painter for ages, & apparently it was sold to Adobe... Took me a while to warm the engine (get familiar again) but I eventually got it running.

I didn't bother to create a fake brand so I just use a random shape in the software to create the brand Logo.

Was my wife’s Birthday today so we tried the eating out for the first time in two months. Place we went was sitting people every few tables and food was great. We had tequila hopefully fights off that corona. Left the waitress a $30 tip she was great at a time like this. Honestly I’m surprised restaurants are making it on to go orders and now limited take out.

Good for you man, it's important to show appreciation with tips and such during these times. Got takeout from my favorite spot in Richmond last night, and ended up picking up a "growler" of beer for $20. It was more expensive to buy from them than walk across the street and hit the bodega for a 6 pack, but I want them to have my business as much as possible.

I robbed a Home Depot while wearing a mask earlier this week...

I received another text message and email yesterday to come and pick up my order. I picked it up on Tuesday, but they didn't bother to add it in their system as being picked up. The order is now canceled and no charge on my HD card anymore. Am I a bad person for not caring about their mix up after all of the mess they caused me and having to stand up front all of that time while numerous employees and customers walked/stood close to me while barely any of them were wearing masks?

I finally used up a near quarters worth of gas since I was furloughed, what now seems like months ago. Went and got gas today and it’s 2.27 for the good stuff at shel, so I filled that remain bit up

I haven’t pump for a while, due to working from home. Used to be 40km ( about 30 miles I think) round trip daily when I work from office.

Went out during weekend. found a queue longer than barber/ hairdresser, as hard as it is to believe, the ice-cream store. Queued 30mins, I almost forget how ice cream tasted like. Think that was my first ice cream this year. yummy.

On Sunday, I was finally able to schedule an installer to come to my house this Thursday to get fiber installed. I've been awaiting this day for years!!!

Is 700kb/sec download speed high speed for you? Then yes, you can high five me.

Anyway, more updates. My efficiency has ramped up to about 70% capacity. Have to relearn/familiarised & learn new stuff while working on assets creation, but I am getting fast up to full speed, & even make improvements along the way. The 1 thing that help is focus not on perfection, but "good enough (80-85% of theoretical perfection)" & work can be done much faster due to law of diminishing return.

Fridge Magnets. I have to use royality free images or make my own design otherwise risk copyright claims. Not pretty but get the job done.

Simple containers models after my own ones, but cleaner. LOL

Paranormal activity tracking device, & tripod. They are set up in a group so I add insulation tape & with a number to indicate its location.

Most of the key assert for the kitchen are done. Now I will take a break from modeling/texturing to do concept designs.

I had to shovel a 20'X10' area of 6+" deep mud and other debris from the bottom of my 1/4 mile driveway in front of my house yesterday from all of the flooding. Then something exploded in my basement last night and the floor dropped below me. I guess one of those jacks broke downstairs. Ugh. God does not want me to have good internets here.
