Went to Virginia Beach on Saturday and the waves were massive. Biggest waves I've seen at Virginia Beach, also maybe the roughest. Waves were fun to body surf and boogie board, too rough for me to attempt to actually surf on as I'm a serious noob at it.

Was in the water with some friends and was gonna head in, when I decided to ride a wave in. Wave took me and when it curled over it flipped me with it, planting my left leg in the sand, while violently throwing the rest of my body in the other direction. When this happened, I felt a serious pop/crunch in my leg and I couldn't' stand on it. My friends had to legit pull me out of the water and I ended up just icing it and taking it easy the rest of the day / yesterday.

Went to work today, and it still hurts like a bitch. I talked to my friend who's a Nurse Practioner about if I should go to the doctor or not, but she said not to for like a week because she thinks it's just a really bad hamstring strain and to take a wait and see approach.

Either way this s*** sucks. I can't flex my leg without wanting to punch someone, and I legit can't lean over to even put on socks while sitting down. I'm old now :(

Edit: As I typed this out I decided that I'm being dumb and I should at least go for an X-Ray at Patient First. Will let you fellas know

Chop it off, problem solved.

Update!

Xrays came back negative and I didn't tear anything which is great. Said I had a real bad strain on my hamstring and am gonna be out of commission for at least a few weeks. After that, only light cardio like walking. Sucks too because I was just about to start ramping up my half marathon training, and joined a new gym like right by my apt.

One new piece of information I did learn though is that when they had me do my xrays, they put both knees next to each other and found out I have a tumor in not just my left knee, but my right one as well. How fun!

That sucks hopefully its benign too.

Still think you should have taken our advice instead of turning to Big Doctor. :D

Statistically, it most likely is benign.
I'm guessing they did/will do a biopsy?

Finally got home. New car is fine which is a big relief.

The apartment is okay which is amazing because there is massive tree wreckage everywhere on the property. I was worried a window could be broken and let in rain. All the patio furniture is in the pool lol.

Widespread power blackouts though. I might go back to my truck to sleep in A/C.

My aunt and uncle live near here and were not so lucky. A tree put a hole in their house roof letting rain pour in. They are both realtors and perfectionists on making houses look nice and she's freaking out.

I think my parents place just has trees down and pealed up roof shingles.

How far back can you guys brush your tongue when brushing your teeth?

I can't even go passed my teeth without gagging. And it looks like I could used a good cleaning back there. Lol

Get a tongue scraper. Life changing. I never had a bad breath problem, but I always used to chew gum because I hate bad breath. With a tongue scraper, I don't even wake up with morning breath. It's really amazing. I got the metal one that looks like a spoon. You'll gag in the beginning as you need to get back there. Your gag reflex will improve. No h***.

Still no power. On my Verizon ASUS Tablet at my parents' place with a flashlight lantern.

My dad has a power generator he runs during the day and if I want to I can camp in the semitruck.

I'm tempted to just head out early for my Monday delivery since there is little to do around here with the power knocked out and annoying curfews.

EDIT / UPDATE: At my parents' place and they do have full power restored. That's amazing from lineman crews after some many trees came down on lines.

Trying to get in some gaming before we have a cookout. Getting updates on my meager hot spot Verizon Wifi.
