I fking hate apps/software/games that automatically choose language base on your OS, with no option to change in the game. Why not have a language option in-game so we can decide which language to choose.
I have to travel (to Singapore next month) & they required certificates or electronic ones (aka phone app), in English. But the 2 apps I download, Corona-Warn & Covpass are both ONLY in German (or so I thought). Obviously not an issue when I am in Germany or a couple of countries that speak German.
So I have to against my wish, pop up Facebook which I have not used for at least 1/2 a decade to seek help. Turned out Corona-Warn app has an English version, (someone shown me on a screenie). Turned out you HAVE to change your IOS to English, & the app automatically change to English. Stupid AF.
Same with Prime video. I wanted (especially comedy) in original English when I watch English show, but most English shows are in German, with no option for even English language. I don't mind German if the show is in Korean or Japanese since I do not understand them (still I rather just subtitle). Obviously, OG Hollywood shows are available in English, why do you not let me choose!
Watching translated shows, especially comedy is just s***, & jokes get lost in translation.

Anyway, we are living in a crown world now when you cannot compliment women.
Complimenting women like "your hair looks nice" "nice shoes" can be now considered "sexual assault" or misogynism. So the safe bet is just shut the F up.
If I am buff (which I am not....yet), obviously I will be happy if I get compliments, so my effort is recognised. Do You think when women do butt buffing exercise or wear tight jeans, they do not NOT wanting people to notice? That's like a bodybuilder wearing a singlet but wishes people do not notice his biceps.
The sad thing is, most women like a nice compliment, but the loud minority make it seems any form of compliment is assault or sexism etc.
By doing so, undermine real sexism, misogynism, harassment. Words like sexism & misogynism are thrown around by people who do not know what they mean.
Like when people complain why the Amazon in Diablo 2 resurrected is now a middle-aged woman with strong masculine features when she was a young woman in the original ( a reasonable question), we have all the crowns smearing them of sexists, misogynists....

a person who dislikes despises, or is strongly prejudiced against women.
Now tell me, how does wanting to play as an attractive woman misogynistic? In fact if you want to play as a woman, you are the opposite of it. If you are a misogynist, wouldn't you ask for Amazon to be a male (which the new one incidentally looked like)?

I'm unemployed and have been working 12-14 hour days editing this new 2-hour video for the 10th anniversary of Deus Ex: Human Revolution. I can't wait to show people and I'm not resentful of doing it, but boy do I wish I were doing it full-time instead of just rushing to get it done ahead of my job's start next week.
Trying to do a Sober October this month. Combining with biking and lifting it'd be nice to lose some pounds whole I'm doing it!

In the summer, when I'm much more defined physically, women seem scared to complement my much more beautiful body. When in winter, when bulked up, they sometimes do complement me looking swole, this makes me confused since I know I'm much more good looking when slimmer... Anyway, I complement both guys and girls if they've been working out hard and changed something in their physiques, I've never gotten anything but thanks and appreciation from this.
I think you need to ditch these people that gets so offended and look for new, better people.

Facebook being down is a pain the in the butt today. Had an item on Marketplace I was getting a TON of hits for, people were offering me double my asking price and I still had a ton of hits coming in. Then BAM, the network goes down and I might be out of a sale god damnit

Right wing groups pour tons and tons of money into Youtube advertising, and there seems to be no way to get rid of certain ads like you can on other social sites (I know on twitter you just click "don't like this ad" and they show you something else). Every time I load up a video game video, I get these right wing political nonsense ads. I just want to see some BF2024 or some Halo...
I can't find any way to control what they show you. It gets really frustrating. I know there needs to be ads, but I should be able to block out certain ones.
