Is it me or is Prime Day really overhyped? There's basically nothing on sale I want. A few gaming hardware deals (don't really need anything). I've seen one game on sale (AC Mirage - already got it, was already on sale a lot).

This is going to have shockwaves throughout the industry.
Ultimately though, these companies are too big for anything bad to happen to them. Boeing can kill people with their mistakes and still they are "too big to fail".
We have 7000 locations that are down, and about 100,000 workstations that are down.
My understanding is that the fix is super manual. You have to basically touch every server/workstation impacted. There's an update, but they don't stay up long enough to actually get it. So, you have to go to each machine, go into safe mode, edit some files out, and then reboot. Simple, but super time consuming.
I'm glad we don't run CrowdStrike where I am.

It's not good. I have to go to urgent care to get prescriptions renewed because my doctor retired and now I don't have one, and can't get one.......and I've gone through every step to try and find a new family physician and it's just not gonna happen.
I've heard it's just as bad over in the UK.
Probably like so many other things the system got hammered by covid
Still it seems like they could hook you up with one of those Remote Teledoc Services depending on what meds have.
I got it all sorted. Not a big deal in the grand scheme of things, but an annoyance.....
And......just a bummer that so many people can't get a Family Physician because there's just not enough.
Mine retired at the end of February (he was my doctor since I was 6 years old) and now I have to jump through hoops to get my prescription refilled.
But I'm must being a complainer here..........so not even close to the horrors others have to go through to get the medical attention they're seeking.
One place in America outlawed them and police can give a ticket to the person wearing one in public… that American freedom!
Now if older people wanna wear them in public I understand, or if someone is sick, but what gets me are the people in cars by themselves wearing one. I still see it.
I would only do that out of laziness if I was a short distance between stores I'm going to.
I mean, during Covid. I haven't bothered with a mask in quite a while.
I personally think that washing and sanitizing your hands is more important than wearing a mask.
At work they cook for us every few weeks. Good food. A couple people never eat because they say they don’t like other people making their food… yet they eat at Fast Food places and restaurants
