I drove from Mobile, Al to Albany, GA to start training for work. I passed by Marianna, FL and saw miles of snapped trees and some shredded Billboards by I-10 from Micheal.

It creeped me out to see all that and most of the debris had been cleared up so it was certainly even a bigger mess.

How often do you have the following lyrics in your head on a daily basis?

Got a new workstation PC at my office a few months ago that I can now finally use. Was waiting for a piece of software to install so I could use that, went from a 10 year old i3 to a brand spankin new i5. The speed is a dream!
I always get the latest workstation at work due to CAD work. I can't imagine using a 10 years old PC.

Well, it was still a solid workstation that performed what I needed it to. Just needed a TOAD license on this new one because I spend a lot of time with SQL and the data tables at my job. Most of the other work I do is through Remote Desktop into our servers, so my PC was essentially just a passthrough.

My first step to my ultimate transformation to Armageddon bringing cyborg.

On a serious note, I was this morning at the optometrist, after my MRI scan (on Tuesday). From the scans, I was diagnosed with 2 areas with ligament tears, possible meniscus tear as well, & need to wear this 'modern cast' (his words) for 6 weeks (when I will have a follow up an appointment).

Hopefully the stabilization of it will be enough for it to heal and you won't be cut open.

Getting setup in a 2014 Volvo Semitruck this weekend and then the job officially starts. I still need to check if it has a proper power outlet for a laptop or if I'll just start out taking my Tablet and Kindle. I'll probably hook up the Tablet to the AUX Port for the radio and try different Pandora channels with Google Assistant hands-free voice controls. I'll also need to stock up at Publix.

The truck already has a loaded trailer to take out of Mobile, AL to Monticello, MS.

Then I'll go to Arkansas, Florida, and North Carolina. Most of these loads are Paper or Cardboard. Unfortunately, the last one is to 2 Sam's Clubs. I hate doing grocery; they're usually slow and mess up my schedule.

Finished some Jack Daniels & Coke. Got in some VR gaming and also some DooM.

I'm a little bummed out about going back to trucking. It seems to be the only job I have strong qualifications for and I have to overcome employment gaps from when I tried college. I dunno, maybe when I get into it it won't be that bad.

At least I moved south and I won't be in the snow as much except for a few occasional runs to Maryland or Pennsylvania.

Just gaming or listening to music on my last off day and deciding what to take with me when I hit the road. Probably watch movies or Netflix on my Tablet or read on my Kindle.

Is there a certain pocket that you put your wallet in?
For me, I have to have my wallet in my back left hand pocket or else I feel weird.

Back right for me. Probably just because I'm right handed so that's what I'd use to grab.
