I've got five days off for both weekends. I've had all Fridays off since October because I suck at taking vacation. Going to hate going back to five day weeks in the new year lol.

I'd go with the black lab s in the robes, they are both looking off to the side clearly wanting someone to come take those outfits off lol. I like the Beagle in the back who looks like he's judging the rest of the dogs for being dressed up too lol.

It just hit me, whilst watching wreck it Ralph 2 that those old cartoons titled Happy Tree Friends originates from something so innocent...but only now is it in the zeitgeist and semi forgotten

Sometimes I see houses decorate for Christmas with a Crucifix. While the Cross is a common Christian symbol, it seems a weird contrast it with the Nativity.

Also, I think of the Cross as being more of a thing for Easter. This makes me wonder if Christmas is going to continue to expand and absorb another holiday in addition to Thanksgiving. Or perhaps this is just people thinking they have an excuse to leave their decorations up.

Christ is born, now grab the hammer and nails. Jesus.

Found out late last week our company changed their mind, we have to work New Year’s Eve now. I was looking forward to another 4 days straight off.

Boring Holiday on the road, but I'm in Jacksonville, FL with a delivery going to Tampa the 26th, so I have all day tomorrow to drive like 3 hours.

After that, I should bring my empty trailer back to Jacksonville to load up and head to Pensacola, FL then heading home. I think should at least get a 4 day break for New Years.

Oh well, I did get what I wanted which was changing to a driving job without the snow.

Normally I like a short tour after the Christmas. But now that my knee are still injuries, I decide to stay home and maybe visit some friends I haven’t visit for a while.

Played Arizona Sunshine for an hour at a VR Lounge store shooting zombies in the face and exploding heads. So satisfying.

I'm hoping this store gets DooM VR.
Looked this up on youtube, looks awesome. How shallow is it though? Is it just a few shooting galleries or something with more substance?

There is both a Story Mode and a Horde mode which might be called a Shooting Gallery.

All that happens in Horde mode is you're placed in a stage with a few guns and you see how many waves of zombies you can fend off. Kind of fun or good for practice.

In Story Mode, you move through a hot desert valley looking for weapons or shelter. You can open doors to abandoned cars looking for weapons. At one point, I was looking for an item I needed in a car and the car alarm went off. A large group of zombies came running in and took me down. It took me a few tries to figure out how to get distance from them and pick them off as the charged me.

It's a fun game experience and I think it almost light exercise lol. I basically stand in place moving around with the controls and headset looking behind me or back and forth facing an attack from 2 directions with my 2 pistols. Or if one zombie is coming slowly, take my time raising the gun for a steady headshot.

What’s everyone doing for New Years Eve?

We have a babysitter I think we’re going out to get a bite to eat at this great cajun seafood/sports bar and then go enjoy some drinks with some friends. Will probably be back home before the ball drops.
