How bad can he be compared to what we've got though?

Any of you nerds have experience with a Purple mattress? Tested the Purple 3 yesterday, and really liked it. User reviews seem to hold up pretty well, but before I buy just trying to get as much info as I can.

I’ve been meaning to get one myself, still do but I’ve seen videos of people finding weird residue or power like substance that’s found between the combs... still need to look into that more

Saw information about that, apparently a competitor to them released some videos on youtube trying to slander them and say that this stuff causes cancer. Apparently it's actually harmless and nothing to worry about.

Edit: This is from Purple's website

There have arisen allegations and suggestions that polyethylene copolymer added to Purple® mattresses may result in risks of adverse health effects in mattress consumers. However, the toxicological literature for chemically-similar compounds do not at all suggest the potential for toxicity. Further, the potential exposure levels to Purple® mattress consumers have been characterized by Terracon, and indicate that polyethylene copolymer exposures would be hundreds of times lower than everyday particulate dust levels that have been determined to be safe even for sensitive individuals. Therefore, there is no scientific or toxicological basis for suggesting that Purple® mattresses represent a consumer health risk.

Have you ever pulled a fingernail off manually, but took it too high so that you have a little underlying flap left behind that feels weird and is annoying as hell?
