Videodrome did you see that pile up in PA? The video is crazy tons of 18 wheelers everywhere.

I hadn't seen that one yet. There have already been a couple big pileups this winter.

I often wonder if the Interstate Highway as a project was a huge mistake and we should have expanded Rail to connect the states better. I think Rail is generally safer and cheaper and the infrastructure for it is more sturdy long term.

Even if an occasional derailment can happen, I but the Rail is still safer with less accidents overall. I also bet the rail could be much safer by investing in modernizing it.

Maybe it's main shortcoming is not being as flexible, but I think ti would have been worth it.

As for the snow, no truck plow can do this.

I saw a guy get bit by a really big German Shepherd at Petco today. The dog and owner were leaving the grooming area walking towards the exit and the other guy was walking right by them going the opposite direction and thought it would be a good idea to just shove his hand in the dogs face and he got chomped on. Thankfully he blamed himself and said it wasn't the dog's fault, I was waiting to hear him say he was going to sue or something lol.

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

I quit my job and turned in my truck. Hoping to find another job that's more local or with better home time after Christmas. I have a few good leads.

At least if I'm out of the snow now since I'll probably find another driving job. I don't mind winter that much, i just hate driving in the snow.

Mobile, AL kind of sucks for jobs so I'll probably have to get another driving job, but maybe I can find something where I don't have to be gone for almost 2 weeks.

Help finding a game... it's driving me crazy.

You play as knights, different colored?
90s game (?)
2D pixel, I think not scrolling but static background.
You fight monster and such.
It's bloody, you mostly die horrible deaths, decapitation and such.
One death is by strangling (by something hanging from a tree) until head flies off.
Tried the Google by no luck.
There might've been a world map or something.

Castle Crashers? Not a 90's game though

Maybe this? It's on a game board not scrolling. Could be considered similar to Battle Chess, but the characters didn't follow traditional Chess move rules.

Also, when a character lands on another square it's not an auto-win, they go to a fight stage.

No, I'm afraid not... I'm trying to think of a better way do describe it. Funny thing is I actually had the same brain itch a couple of years back and had success googling it, but forgot about it again.

No, it's a bit like that though, but from what I remember the graphics looks much better.

lol it's not the crazy ass Dragon's Lair is it?

This approach to game development was a bold idea, but damn the controls never responded right.

I actually played that a few weeks ago on my rbpi arcade cabinet, I thought it was bad emulation (which it prob is too, sound is f***ed) but I guess it wasn't much better at release lol

Lol I played the cabinet back in the 90s at our local arcade. The timing is very touchy; you had to hit the moves almost immediately.

I did see people who were good at it, but they were like today's speed runners and just memorized the moves without looking for or waiting for the prompts.

Sounds like something that happens to BMW drivers here in Southern CA, if you happen to get alongside or behind one watch out because they change lanes like you aren't even there and forget trying to change lanes in front of one lol.

I’m in SoCa too, it’s really Mercedes drivers, because they’re all ancient... followed by Prius, Audi, then Camry drivers

I hate when people go to the dollar store to load up on groceries when all you’re buying is trash bags or something.

The high yesterday was 70. Today will be the same. I'm not complaining though.

My condolences to the polar bears.

We've had upper 60's all this week. In early November, there were days it didn't reach 20.

Making a resume is so tedious.

For me the worst part is thinking about looking for another job and knowing I'll need references, but those references no longer exist in my world because they no longer work there and I'm getting old and have no idea who to get a reference from.

So I just stay at my job (which is fine, nice to have one I guess)

Well, my city started off the year with a triple homicide. Adult female and a 10 and 2 year old child. What the f***.

I see insane crime all the time coming from Mobile and sometimes Pensacola.

I’ve been watching Saints/Vikes pretty good. Sitting in the carport, got the grill going (chicken and bacon wrapped shrimp), and the weather is awesome outside. Does not feel like January weather.

It's been in the 60's like everyday since Christmas, but this week will be in the 40's which is pretty standard for the area. Back to 70's this weekend lolz

I'm a big fan of the Ring stick up cameras. Easy to install and set up through wifi (just need to make sure your wifi signal reaches them).

I've got 4 of them on my house now. I'm not in a bad area particularly, but the bad areas are only a couple minutes away.

You can even put them up in a dry area with some gorilla tape if you don't want to (or can't) put holes in the outside.
