They didn't get what they deserved. 5 million dollar fine is nothing. Each person on the team should be fined, on top of the manager and general manager banned from baseball indefinitely. Sure, they all cheat in some way. Pine tar, relaying signs while on 2nd, base coaches being out of the box stealing signs, etc. That's been around for decades. Using cameras and electronics to relay info is way above any of that. To me, it's worse than individuals using PED's. It was a team effort which is far worse than anything I've witnessed since I've been watching the sport.

Having access to cameras and technology was meant to get calls right, not for cheating to win. The sport is already on a major decline and stuff like this just makes it worse.

It’s coming out that 6 or more other teams have been doing the same thing as well. It’s a bad look for MLB all around, but cheating has been part of that sport going back decades. No matter how big or small that’s a problem. PEDs, pine tar, pitchers doctoring the ball, all these things may seem small to you but it all adds up to cheating to gain an advantage.

I never said any of those ways of cheating were small, I said they were nowhere as bad as what's recently been revealed.

ALL cheating is very bad and should not be tolerated. Seems like your hate of the Astros going back further than the cheating scandal is swaying you.

Another thing is you have a league that was juicing their own baseballs to drive up home runs last season. So you have a league that cheats itself.

Its true all these leagues allow cheating when convient or for the darlings *cough* Patriots. Still, eff the Astros.

Or your love of the Astros is swaying you...

Why would I care one way or another about that team? They aren't in the NL central anymore and they weren't any threat to any team at any point in the last several seasons they were in the NL. They were a guaranteed 12-15 wins for every team in the division for several years. A lot of fans (myself included if you read my posts on a Reds site) and other organizations looked to the Astros as how turning a team around was done right and many fans wanted their teams to follow in their footsteps. They crapped on all of that. I can't imagine how badly they're gonna get booed at every visiting ballpark over this.

Since you were a fan of a winning team, I don't think you realize how many of the garbage teams and their fans looked at the Astros organization and wanted to follow what they accomplished in such a short time, but it was all a sham. That's why I feel they need to be punished far more than what's been done to ensure other teams don't do the same thing and know they can get away with it.

Astros didn’t win because they cheated they won because they had a team built that had a shot at winning anyways. I feel bad for the teams that were also cheating that didn’t win. Guess they were just doing it wrong am I right!?

Anybody here use Project Fi? I'm getting sick of paying $100 to Verizon every month for unlimited data and have been really looking into Project Fi.

Gracias amigos

my bro-in-law has it, loves it. My brother has ting and loves it too. Both paying like half that, they don’t get out much so they don’t worry much about reception in so cal.

I got att and parts of la/socal where I get little to no service but theres work.

Looking at the coverage map it wouldn't be a problem for me and where I live/travel, but I had Sprint until 2013 and they were absolutely terrible. I know Project Fi uses Sprint and T-Mobile, it's just the data speeds I used to experience are why I'm anxious. I've heard it has gotten a lot better though, I mean it's been 7 years almost at this point. Gotta say though, saving $60 - $70 a month seems like a pretty big deal. Will probs do it

Just came across some youtube videos of a guy named Kitboga who streams on twitch. Im late to the party but he's funny as s***. He trolls scammers with fake bank accounts etc.

Leads them on for hours while they think they are going to get all this money out of him. Highly recommend it. The guy is a genius.

I haven't watched him in a while but yea it's some good entertainment.

Trying out another driving job. Still could be crazy hours, but supposed to be home daily. It's a weird setup as there is no local company office, just an old warehouse property where we park our trucks.

The truck I'm assigned just finished shopt time so I should be able to pick it up in the morning. I hope it's an automatic; I've gotten used to them. My ride along trainer's truck was a 10 speed manual and my shifting is rusty.

First dispatch should be Alabama to Louisiana and back.

If this works out, I want to shop for an apartment with decent space to actually get to do hobbies and projects and get more exercise.

Just curious if anyone here has a data cap on their home internet service? I’ve went through this company for years we get 200 mbps speed at $100 a month. I can download games and big updates in an hour or less. Problem is we also cut out cable a long time ago and went to straight streaming.

Got a letter today in the mail from my provider saying they’re changing up their pricing and plans our plan has a data cap now at 1000 gb but they say I average 2000 a month and will now be charged $50 extra a month every time we go over!
