Official Thread The Switch Thread

Considering selling my Switch...
Need more Metroid shown in December would be great.

Don't do that. Metroid is coming and you know they're going to drop another game eventually that will make you want it again. Never understood why people sell their consoles for pennies on the dollar. 9/10 times people regret it.

Like I did with my PSVR. Wasn't using it, but now there are games that I want on it.

Smash, Dark Souls, Pokémon, it’s not a bad lineup for the rest of the year. I hope 2019 is more like 2017, however.

Haven't touched my Switch since probably the spring. No way I'd sell it though. Just need to find the time to play the games .

Anyone play Kirby Star Allies? I've never played a Kirby game but wondering if it might be worth it. Looking for a non story game I can just jump into randomly when bored.

World of Light looks great. Unless I didn't understand correctly, I wish the coop mode was available online as well. Sounded like local only still.

Picked up a switch plus Mario odyssey and Mario kart 8..

Wasn't paying attention just looked at my receipt and they didn't scan the switch

I'm playing through Odyssey again myself. Never beat when it first released. Just started over with it. Probably going to stick with Nintendo games for a while. Have a bunch of old games I want to play, including some series I've never touched like Kirby and Metroid.

It's a slow starter but I'll give out a go.

Mario 64 is actually the only 3D Mario I've really enjoyed.

Feel like getting diablo 3, already put a few dozens of hours into it on my Steve, but I feel like this game will shine even more on the go.
Also, saw that there single player mode coming to smash bros, tempting to buy this also.

Oh you do have a Switch now. Well excuse me for calling you out in the Red Dead thread for giving it GOTG without playing Zelda and Mario. You're on your way to becoming a seasoned gamer. You just need that PS4 now and then i'll call you King like your name suggests. Jkjk.. Congrats, and welcome to the club!

And you didn't realize something was off when the total only came to.. less than $400? lol.

Zelda vs rdr2? Lol not even in the same division, rdr blows zelda so far away it needs to solve 98 shrines to upgrade its stamina enough to even get a glimpse of Arthur's horses ass.

Also, zelda is great.

No cause the colleague never said,

"That comes to" or anything like that. Was talking so both of us were distracted.

We may be getting a new Zelda game sooner than we think. Nintendo has posted a job listing in Japan, looking for a level designer for The Legend of Zelda series. The designer will be responsible for creating events, dungeons, fields, and enemies from the design stage up to the point of actually implementing it into the game.

Since I'm back to playing Odyssey again, I've been in a big Nintendo mood again. Decided to grab an online sub and play some Splatoon 2 again since it has been a long time. Feel like I'm so far behind everyone in terms of weapons and loadouts, but still do pretty well. Even if my team gets smoked I'm more often than not at the top of my team.

Biggest change for me is it seems like I'm aiming at the person but no hit markers, or when I do it them it's like 4-5 to kill while some people absolutely melt me. Not sure if connection or if they have abilities that help. Either way still a blast to play including the Salmon Run, although some of the random weapons in that are junk.

How do people decide which games to get on the switch if it's multi-platform?

So far all of my Switch games have just been exclusives. I'm primarily a PC gamer so usually if it's multiplatform I'll get it on that instead of the Switch or other console unless I have friends on those consoles I'd play with.
