It didn't feel good. I forgot how sick you can get when you aren't accustomed to it.

If you're not puking, you're not doing it right.

Congrats, sounds like you were almost spot on.

I don't work out. I train. Daily. Each morning 30-45 minutes. I don't puke. Don't even try to puke. I use programs from smarter folks than me like the people at www.strongfirst.com. Changed my life about 7 years ago taking up Karate. I was 294lbs @6' tall with 42" pants.

Now I am still 6' tall weighing in at 179lbs and a 32" waist. I also feel a hell of a lot better. ;)

I think you have an exciting future in power lifting and personal training. I see a clothes lines and nutrition system in your near future.

Don't forget me damnit!

I really wish I had a good 9 to 5 job instead of my messed up work schedule. I would do that after work to.
I am a slave to routine. i work out at lunch time. if I don't then I can fall off the training wagon for weeks.

Thank you all for the support! I can't wait to be back in shape!

Now you've just got to add about 10 lbs on!

Funny you say that as I am doing a 12 week hypertrophy program called Kettlebell Muscle. :)
Kettlebells are fun. Used them a lot for different things in college as part of the Track Team strength training.

I will bite.

I started working out in January at 6'2" (whatever 6 foot 2 looks like) and weighing 176. I am up to 205 now. Just lifted heavy and ate properly. It takes time, man.

I get a bit sore now but I used to get very sore, especially after doing legs and chest.

I couldn't bench 135 pounds more than 5 times before and now I can hit 275 and squat 355 and 405 on dead lift. Not trying to brag because those numbers are moderate but I saying that with a right diet and routine, you will see results and stop getting sore/throwing up.

What did you do for events? I threw javelin and discus for my college. I was the only thrower under 6' and under 250 :/

I was a sprinter. Mainly stuck to 100 and 200, but was sometimes put in the 400 for relays.

400 is the worst! I used to run that before I realized most people were faster than me.
What were your best times for each?

Yeah, 400s are not my friend lol.

Best 100 was 10.97, 200 was 22.31, and 400 was 50.6. Nothing too spectacular, but was one of the best on my team which was a D3 team.

I really need to work out because I haven't done that since, well, years, lol. I know, really. Admittedly, I got bit lazy soon after my son entered the world 6 years ago. I've gained weight a lot and need to cut down on drinking cokes. Dang, Coke is So addicting!

Ah, Vanilla Coke. Not had it in a while. Last time I tried it, I thought it was okay. Maybe now is different and better taste.
lol, I haven't had it in years but it was always my favorite.

I don't work out, I just run. Ran 20 miles today ahead of the pre-marathon taper. Just over three weeks away...
