We had a tornado come through our town yesterday evening just as I got home from work it passed about a block or so north of our home. Al we got was limbs down in the yard and golf ball sized hail. Boss text me this morning said to stay home no power at work. Trying to check now on how bad it was in other parts of the town.

Wow I'm glad it missed your house but that has to be scary as hell, stay safe!

I'd much rather deal with small earthquakes from time to time here than have to worry about tornadoes every year. We average about 10 a year but they are always F0 or F1 at the most and they don't stay on the ground long, last one I remember hearing about was in the fall last year and was an EF0 that was on the ground for about 15 min near Sacramento.

I dodged bad storms in Alabama again. This time as I was heading north the severe storm box on weather radar was right behind me. I heard bad storms were hitting Lucedale, MS and heading to Mobile. I wonder if I'll see downed trees on the way back home.
