The Witcher 3 1080p/30fps PS4|900p/30fps XBO

Lower resolution can and usually does=lower quality textures.
Are you saying its funny both aren't 1080p? (Xbox One still might hit it by launch)

But that's the opposite of what I said though, the texture quality has always been the same.

Check any of the face-off threads.

I seen it... did you read this thread?
Says something different.
This is why we have to wait and see how it turns out.

Not that I care, most of my third party games are on PS4, but I'll take the word of the developer over a German DF type site.

But we'll see. Maybe there's miscommunication somewhere.

You keep pushing that video over this thread so yeah you care.

Trusting a dev to deliver on a promise I find hard to do.

I do wonder if the dev actually said flat out that the resolutions are both 1080p or he just said parity, he could be talking about content or that in general the games look the same etc.

Oh dear lord, NOT PARITY!! WHY GOD?! WHY?!?

How ever will I be able to enjoy my version of this 1080p masterpiece knowing that others on another platform are enjoying the same thing?!? Why do ye test me this way my lord?!

Hope that it gets to 1080p 1st.
Then if it does...tell us!

Im simply not that petty, Valliance. Thanks anyway though. It looks to be worth a venture worth taking. Im sure Ill enjoy it just fine no matter the resolution. If I can find the time to complain about the number of pixels on my screen when I play a game, I might have to consider doing something else with my time. You know?

These game machines cost us money...Some of us want the most out of them is all.

There's intelligent "consumerism" and then there's....really, really dull, miserable people who just need something to complain about. If you aren't getting your money's worth because your game is missing a few pixels Vall, perhaps you need another hobby. Not even joking.

So why are you in this thread? The thread title clearly states what the thread is about.

Parity is a pretty clear statement. Imo

But my question would be, is that guy a developer or just a rep?

If it were an English interview I'd agree with you but a lot of times when things are translated something gets lost or misunderstood.

Ooops! You're right. Sorry. Pixel counting is too serious a business for me anyhow. Not exactly something I'd want edged on my tombstone.

"HERE LIES MARTY MCMASTERS
PIXEL COUNTER FOR THE AGES."

With that, I'll continue to observe only. Carry on then...

No I need another version.
Its a perk of being a multi-format gamer... I have options,I will take options over loyalty to plastic.

Um, I was supporting your comment Qbert.

Let me rephrase:

The clarity and crispness of the graphics on the laptop is nothing like I have seen on a TV. The laptop is superior.

My bad. I don't you were saying its nothing as what you've seen on tv, as in tv being better.

Well you could also play the game completely maxed out and higher than 30fps on your PC.

I bet $1 you get PS4 version though.

if they can't get to 1080p native than I hope they can the xyz/1080p, quiet bits full res than when it heats up 16xy or 13xy/1080 like in cod and halo.
