Finish both innkeeper & Big city player quests for Qwent. Alot of heroes card now.

I tried all the different factions, but the distribution isn't balance yet. I need 4 more cards to make a complete deck for Monsters, & yet to find any Siege weapon for Sol de something factor.

And a tip for Gwent players: If you are battling Scoia'tael and win the first round, pass on the second round and you'll force them to lose one card just to stay in battle, giving you an upper-hand in the third round. Just be sure they don't have too many "comrade summoning" cards when doing this.

Man, I can't believe how much locking the framerate at 30 has helped. I rented again on Xbox One and its so smooth now.

I'll be buying it real soon.

I can't believe how much time I've put into this game. Nearly 4 days worth.

I feel like this game truly shines for me when I'm out just exploring the world. Whether it's clearing out bandit camps, liberating villages, destroying monster nests, or finding guarded treasure, it's always a rewarding and satisfying experience.

I don't want to play any other game until I've finished this game. Batman is releasing shortly and normally I'd be really hyped but I just don't want to even think about playing anything else but Witcher. I love the way different parts of the map have different lighting. I haven't seen that orange glow for a while now since I've been roaming Skellige. I can't wait to head back to the mainland and just start roaming but I have had to get some secondary quests done before I level up too fast and don't get the xp.

"It seems that CD Projekt haven’t given up on optimizing the performance of the PS4 version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Speaking on the game’s official forums, CDPR’s Marcin Momot assured players that the the development team is still looking into improving PS4 version frame rate performance."

“Our development team is still looking into this issue. FPS on PS4 has been slightly improved with the recent patches but we want to say something when we have solid facts to present to you. As mentioned, the team is trying to improve this aspect of the game, and I will share the information with you as soon as I have something. Thank you for your understanding and sorry about the silence on this topic,” he stated."

"He also revealed that more patches are on their way which will bring along a lot of fixes, as patch 1.06 was only a hot fix for the PC version. He also confirmed that the gold reset issue will be fixed in the upcoming 1.05 hot fix patch for consoles. And finally for users who are facing issues with NPC interaction in Food’s Gold quest, Marcin confirmed that they are currently investigating the issue."

Have they announced when they will do the DX12 patch?

Lol, all I've got to say is Trololo and the oogulley paint :D

This game is too good! I accidentally, unwittingly started a level 24 quest involving a s certain swordsmith.... I'm a level 13. To say I have to stay on my toes is an understatement! I've gotten him his body guards, so I'm still in!

I'll probably get some high level gear that I can't use for a while

Do it! Finish the mission! No leveling needed from my understanding. This here was one of the missions I did at lvl 13 and got through fine on the second to hardest difficulty. You'll face lvl 26 enemies, but they are just human enemies, no ghouls.

If you already started, might as well complete. However , generally I do not advice doing Quest that are in red (far higher level), but not because its more challenging, but you get so easily overlevel (like seriously easily even if you try not to), so its best to do lower level quests first before they become underlevel & grey.

The quest pacing & XP gaining is all over the places in tis game, & half my quests are already greyed, even when I try to be within optimum levels for the quests. I normally still do them if they look interesting. But going all the trouble & getting only 5xp is pretty anti-climax. Thankfully, most are interesting, & combat never get that hard (Blood & bones) to really need all the XP you need if you choose the right skills.

Oh, I'm finishing it, but I only started it because I was in Novigrad for the first time and wanted to check out a blacksmith shop. There was no warning of how high the level is. I've died a couple times, especially against the dwarves at the beginning of it until I figured I could jump in and get a hit, then jump back out. Had to kill 6 or 7 of them... took a while, lol.

I am over 100 hours already & I think very near end of the main story. I am on Blood of the battlefield questline now.

You'll get a very nice sword in the end. Hope your can use it at your level though.

That's what I'm afraid of, lol. Personally, if you go through that much trouble to beat a higher level quest, you should be able to use the s***.

I had a super bulls*** moment out in the swamps near Oxenfort. I find this guys dead body and it has a key to a chest nearby. I open it up and find a surprise! A sword called Headhunter that I could use that did +14 damage over my current sword (it's hard to find better gear that is in my level).

Hooray! I eagerly equip it and run off to the next ? marker. I proceed to step down into a depression filled with water and am unable to climb out! Annoyed, I restart at last save, which is right before I search the corpse for the key. I go to the chest to get HeadHunter back, and it's there still! So what's the problem, you say? Well, THIS one does -1 damage compared to my current sword. :( ..... BULLs***!

I feel your pain. I came across a +80 saddlebag then had to fight a water hag. The piece of s*** killed me and when I reloaded my save and went to the spot where I found the bag, it was gone. I was pissed because that was the very first saddlebag I'd ever found and it because it was +80. That's a s*** ton.

I finished last night, I played on the second to hardest difficulty, did every quest I could possibly find, failed one quest early on and another that I apparently didn't get to before doing something else. Not sure what happened there because I was babysitting my quests at that point and trying to make sure I did the lowest leveled ones first. I got all but two of the Qwent cards. One I missed in the beginning with the inn owner and the game progresses to a point where you no longer have the option to play her. When I realized I couldn't get that one I didn't bother trying to get the other missing leader card. I completed all the fist fights but got bored with the horse racing so didn't finish those. I played about 250 hours and just absolutely loved this game! I was feeling a little burned out by the end but a lot of that was because of all the minor side quests because there was so much to do in this game!

This story was just fantastic, the character animation and the voice acting was some of the best I've ever seen in a game. I never played the first Witcher game, the second one was just okay to me, didn't think it was bad, didn't think it was great and Geralt was kind of dull to me and Triss was even duller. I went with Geralt and Yen - loved the banter between the two, loved how I ended things with Triss on good terms. Loved all the secondary characters but, wow, Ciri, just loved, loved, loved her - especially the interactions between her and Geralt. I wish it hadn't taken so long into the game to finally reunite them because that pairing was the best in the game. I also thoroughly enjoyed playing as Ciri and wish their had been more of that. Her character and abilities would be worthy of a stand alone game with an appearance or two of her surrogate dad! This game had me laughing at times and crying at times. Best game I've ever played! I'll most likely play through again when the DLC content comes out and try and play some stuff differently. If I wasn't feeling so burned out by all the side quests and trying to do everything I'd hop back in. Next time I may just play it on the storymode setting and just enjoy the story!

I have some seriously powerful swords. But i never use them because I've never needed to. I'm playing back over on the hardest difficulty. And after that, I shall avoid hard mode.

No biggie there is no end to the swords you can get, i spent the best part of an hour and a half getting all the griffin witcher gear and enhancing it then a couple hours later i find swords that are better then the enhanced griffin swords which pissed me off, still using the armor though which is good,

Getting drunk with Lambert and Eskel was pretty f***ing funny...

Some of the writing in this game is fantastic, just doing a random quest with Zoltan and he was getting drunk with his dwarf "acquaintance" and when i came back down the stairs they were complaining about how dwarves get the blame for popping snow whites cherry. Little things like that just keep me coming back.

How to unlcok the DLC quest & armor?

I never had any real difficulties with combat (except the boxing, mainly in the confined space, daman off screen attacks), but man, I got my ass kicked really hard fighting the Wild hunt General on bald mountain. I spend ike 2.5 hpurs I think try to beat him, & finally beat him by the Teeth. I even have to spend 3 points in skills I would not otehrwise spend. Thankfully there is respec (potion of clearance). I used oil, & lots of differnt potion.

Anyway, a good thing I found out during the fight is you can consume potions without equiping them, & you can swap bombs in your inventory during a fight. Didn't know that before the fight, but to be fair, I do not need to do so before as well.
