Normal is fairly easy so easy is probably a cakewalk. Some of the side quests are the best parts of the game or add context to the characters involved in the main quests. This is one game i'd say if your just plowing through the main quest you're missing out.

I was afraid you were going to say that!
 
To piggy back on what has already been said, the side quests in this, make the game. Alot of them are very well told self contained stories. A few of them relate back to the main story. The main quests are multi faceted that allow multiple way to complete them.
CD Project set the bar on what to expect from quests in games, period. And surprisingly enough no one has challenged them yet on that front.

NO!! I just finished the last DLC only a few weeks ago! The whole game took me f***ing years to complete!! And now they're releasing a next Gen version so I'm going to have to start all over again!! f*** you CD Project! f*** you right in the ass! I want to play other f***ing games!!!!!

I never did beat this, and with winter rolling around I'll probably be playing a lot more single player games since outside activities will be gone :(

Finished it trice... xbox one, xbox one X and switch.... lol

Do the side quests. Some are easily as good as the main story. One is even better. Some can even affect the end fight. Also... You might even get some porn out of it, lol, if you count brothels as side quests... Lot's of boobies in the game.

Still my Game of the Generation.

EDIT: oh yeah, and play it on Normal. It's got just enough challenge to make it fun without being too difficult.

Haha. I actually stopped my second play-through because of this news. I'm going to go back the BIG decision and start from there. I lost my perfect ending save file and need to recreate it! I was going to go back and make different choices, but I was too happy with the choices I made, and decided I don't like the other way, lol. Luckily I didn't get far on the DLC either, so I have that all new to experience. About half way through Heart of Stone.

I've about 180 hours in total between the original and the DLC. I only finished the main story last year and Ive been working through the DLC since. And that's not even covering every quest. There were a few I failed for various reasons, some I missed and others that are still pending.

All said though.. I cannot wait to see what the series X version looks like. I'm think it will blow most newer games out of the water.

Similar, I got it late, played through once extensively, loved it, and at some point I'll play through again but I'll wait until it's all gussied up for XSX (if only for those loading times).

I am going to start playing it tonight. I am gonna erase my save first though and start from scratch. I was literally like 30 minutes in, but I want to be fresh. Looking forward to Boobies!

Imagine no hitching between pulling up the map/inventory menus. Be worth that alone.

Great news glad I waited on getting back to this. I put around 10 hours when I picked it up on sale awhile back. The game already looks amazing on One X.

Played it through on og Xbox version, one x version and switch version including all DLC... But yeah... I'll play it again lol

Tied for best last gen game alongside RDR2
