I don't watch NXT from week to week, but I didn't really care about Karrion Kross that much. Four man Iron-Man match sounds awesome though, I think I'll actually tune in next week for this.

I read a story that people are trolling that thunderdome stuff wearing KKK hoods and holding up pics of Benoit and other stupid crap. Idk how WWE didn't think ahead that people would do crap like that.

Yeah Summerslam went off without any trouble it seemed, but RAW the next night was not so smooth. Should have known better than to trust wrestling fans to behave. Half of us don't even shower.

RIP

and while it sucks for Mauro, he's been unhappy in WWE for a long time. I think he was happier when he was in NXT, but even that must have worn on him. He's a great talent with a natural gift for the seat. Hopefully he still does boxing and maybe does some wrestling on the side. I could see him going to AEW, but I don't know how long Jim Ross wants to stay on the mic.

EDIT!!!!! This was posted by Meltzer regarding Mauro's departure:

Mauro Ranallo and WWE have agreed to terms of his release today and it is expected that it will be announced officially shortly.
Unlike in the past, this departure was not on any negative terms. Ranallo has missed the last few NXT broadcasts due to going back to British Columbia where his mother has been hospitalized. He was looking for a less stressful schedule even though WWE did accommodate him as best they could as he had been doing the shows from a home studio in Santa Monica, California, where he lives, as opposed to flying into Orlando each week since the start of the pandemic.
"I appreciate the opportunity I had to realize my childhood dream of working in sports entertainment, and I wish WWE well in the future. Now I want to direct my focus and devote my time to my other projects and to my mental health charitable activities and the well-being of my mother and myself," Ranallo said.
Ranallo's departure comes at the same time WWE has been in talks with Stu Bennett (Wade Barrett) to come to the company full-time. Bennett started last week as a third announcer in working with Vic Joseph and Beth Phoenix on the NXT show.
Ranallo will continue to work for Showtime doing boxing and with Bellator doing MMA, but at 50, had achieved his childhood dream of announcing for WWE and was looking at devoting more time to mental health advocacy, doing voiceover work and other television and/or digital projects.

So it sounds like he needed a lighter schedule to help take care of his mother and focus on charity work. Good for him and hopefully we see him back in WWE one day down the line.

I am interested in the numbers for NXT tonight and AEW tomorrow night.
If both somehow end up significantly higher... I wonder if NXT stays on Tues.

If I were in NXT I wouldn't want to be called up to the main roster, you just get misused and then released.
