It's a boring show, they keep taking the good people up to the main roster and ruining them so it's not a shock that this show isn't doing great. It is still funny that AEW fans act like beating WWE's training class in ratings is some huge accomplishment, most WWE fans don't even know who's on the NXT roster.

It's smart, being in the middle kind of lessens the title, first you get to set the stage for everyone else and likely get the best crowd reactions or last you get to be the actual main event even though the crowd is probably a lot less energetic, at least when it comes to Wrestlemania. I don't know how those crowds sit through 5-7 hours of wrestling.

Caster tweeted that he was officially asked to stop "scissoring" Bowens fingers when they do that hand sign for the Acclaimed. Does AEW or any of the network people really think anyone knows what he means when the do that if they aren't already aware of what scissoring is? lol They allow thumb tacks and blood in matches but a guy faking a scissoring motion with two fingers is somehow over the line lol. I figured that would happen, saw the Acclaimed's match from dark on youtube and they pulled the camera back fast when he started to do that.

As he should. He's their biggest star and especially with the way they've been presenting him he should be either the main event or the opener.

JinCA I think what you're saying is part of the reason why they're heavily looking at two day Wrestlemania's going forward. Performers like it more because the crowds aren't dead.

It should go back to one night and be 3 hours with maybe a little overrun up to 4 hours max, there is no need for a 5-7 hour day of wrestling. They have a huge roster but filling out that much time with matches that can both be interesting and meaningful is impossible.

I remember I was staying at my grandmothers house for the weekend when this match was on tv, loved this old style kind of wrestling because for the most part it actually looks like 2 guys trying to beat each other in a fight/athletic contest and not trying to score 10's from dirt sheet writers who just make s*** up.

 
If he's proud of the product and not just focused on ratings he should still be going on about it or even pushing it harder to try and improve ratings.

That would explain a 20% drop not half, you'd think their fans would have followed them if they loved them so much especially since it's been on at that day and time for a few weeks now. I don't think 10:00pm is all that late for a wrestling fan to watch a show either, it's later than usual but it's not a midnight show or anything like that. I used to stay up until 1:00 am to watch NWA wrestling here on Saturday nights when I was a kid and of course Saturday Night's Main Event always started at 11:30 pm
