The Wrestling Topic

First off, f*** that dude.

Secondly, live crowds are back for WWE starting tonight! Hopefully they've got a good show planned since there's going to be actual reactions lol.

Thirdly, sucks for Bayley that she got hurt training and is going to be out 9 months. She's a seriously great performer and will be missed.

Justin Roberts helping to take him down :) I've always hated fans who did this s***, if you were supposed to be on the show you'd have signed a contract lol. I am not a fan of people taking cheap shots on others who are held down either but with these clowns it's funny as long as they aren't seriously hurt. I remember when Cash Wheeler nailed that guy in the face that tackled Bret Hart at the HOF a few years ago, Jericho tried this time but those looked like fake wrestling punches.

Apparently Peacock is sh*tting the bed pretty badly. Many Olympic events will be streamed on it too which will obviously draw larger viewing crowds. This should be fun 😕

Heard nothing but bad things about peacock.

Glad the deal didn't impact the UK

Yeah this reallllllllly f***ed up last night big time, right before the Men's MITB match, which is what I was looking forward to the most. They did fix it, but you had to restart the stream. Found a twitch stream and just watched it on my phone because I wasn't aware of the fix lol.

They best be fixing this crap, it was kinda spotty randomly throughout but it wasn't a huge deal. The choppiness of the big breakdown was seriously like watching a scrambled ppv from the 90's.

Back to WWE, I thought the event rocked the house. Men's MITB and Charlotte vs Rhea especially. Tons of fun!

Man that's sad to watch. Really wish he would just call it a day and just be a manager or backstage talent.

Great performer for a long time but need to say enough.

Also for all the praise AEW fans give the company for pushing young talent they have more should have retired performers than WWE.

Oh and go away Goldberg.

Vince is a moron for bringing Goldberg back again lol his last two attempts were abysmal and the guy has always been overrated.

yeah because they have the young talent overcome the "legends" where as WWE makes them champions for months ;)

Jericho hasnt been involved in the title scene since his initial run to promote the new promotion, and people like Sting have only gone on to prove how you can effectively use legends. Where as here is WWE still putting Goldberg in a main event title match! who the f*** wants to see that? beating goldberg means nothing now, Brock is atleast still a draw and his matches have "dangerous" feel about them where as Goldberg matches have "dangerous" feel too but for all the wrong reasons

Goldberg sucks and Jericho sucks lol both promotions are making stupid choices, it took WWE years to finally let Roman Reigns be a heel and now he's killing it, his angle is the best thing that promotion has going right now so of course they need to f*** it up with attention whore John Cena lol.

As far as Jericho it's fun to laugh at him because he's an idiot, he can't perform his old style anymore but still tries and looks terrible doing it, he says stupid s*** outside of the ring all the time and the fact that he lied about that not being a crash pad he landed on is hilarious. You can even see the big square he had to land on from the top camera angle lol, if he really hurt his elbow it's because he put it down too early and too much weight was on it and not him hitting the hard side part as Dave rat face Meltzer said.

Vince really hates NXT
Yeah I actually watched like all of RAW last night, and really enjoyed it for the most part....with one of the exceptions being Karrion Kross.

Now, I don't personally care for him too much, but come on wtf was that. First off, no Scarlett with him, which is just a stupid ass mistake. Secondly, his entrance was legitimately dumb. Thirdly, that's how he takes his first loss? I get that he'll probably get the win back at Summer Slam or something, and probably have Scarlett in his corner and all that, but what a weird way to do anything. Makes him look like a dork immediately.

In addition to that, Goldberg is whatever. He's a dangerous worker who's past his prime, but the crowd still loves him, and the casuals still love him. He got a pop last night, and tbh from me too. My only issue is if he beats Bobby Lashley, which he shouldn't. He'll have a fun hoss match for five mins and hopefully Lashley gets the rub.

Was nice seeing Keith Lee back though I gotta say. Sucks his match wasn't amazing or anything, but it was great to have him back.

Jericho is extremely solid on the mic and commentary. For that reason alone I'm fine with him being around. Do agree with him not being a great wrestler anymore, but he still draws so idk.

Roman vs Cena actually is really exciting. I popped when he came back on Sunday and I'm really looking forward to the promos and match they'll have. Roman will get the win, don't worry about it.

Jericho is a clown on commentary, I find his voice very annoying and his reactions to things just sound so fake to me. I've never been a big fan of his though, I liked him when he was in WCW back in the day but I've found his mic skills to be highly overrated, the only really good stuff he had in WWE was with Stephanie way back when and his silly list thing that caught on.

The thing with Cena is you know he's either going to lose or he'll win and then lose the rematch, he's part time and getting older and let's face it he wasn't actually good in the ring when he was at his best. He's the only guy I know that can attempt a death valley driver but end up executing a standing fireman's carry and call it a finisher lol.

Watched the AEW youtube show that came out today, pretty much only ever watch the stuff with the Acclaimed, they were entertaining as usual and had a pretty funny rap before the match and a good promo after, they were in an 8 man tag again instead of a straigh up tag team match though for like the 3rd time in a row.

I don't exactly disagree that Cena could ham it up in the ring, but when he actually cared about a program he was awesome. See CM Punk, AJ Styles, Edge, Shawn Michaels, Randy Orton, Brock Lesnar (including the squash match where he did the job), Bray Wyatt (Firefly Funhouse only tbh. MAYBE his first match with him when he lost), Dean Ambrose.

Earlier in his career yeah John Cena was Super Cena and it sucked, but around like 2015 he started pumping the brakes and most of his matches were awesome. The US Title Open Challenge I think is what did it for me to be an actual fan of his, because before that I didn't care. s*** man just thinking about how awesome that open challenge match with Cesaro was still makes me a mark.

"Fine speech"

It was usually his opponents that made the matches awesome, especially that Cesaro match IMO his in ring work is passable but clumsy and awkward, his skill on the mic are what gets people into what he's doing. That being said that howdy doody face is so punchable I just can't stand looking at him lol.

So that Japanese promotion title that Moxley held can be lost by count out, that's fine but why did the other guy win when his feet were on the apron? the only parts of him that were in the ring were his arm and his ass because they were on the ropes but not a single part of the guy was actually inside the ring so how was he considered the winner?

Sammy Guevara looked like a total idiot running down to stop Tully Blanchard tonight, such a fake facial expression, he's so much better when he's not trying to look like a "good guy" and Jericho was so bloated it was hilarious watching the 3 minutes of his match I saw, not only that but that "back elbow" that's more like a soft shoulder blade bump to the face is one of the worst finishers I've ever seen. I really wish he'd retire or at least stick to being a manager type.
