Have to love how that was their "top talent" out there dropping him at the end too lol. That NXT set up for each clip was terrible though, if anything takes that long to get going it shouldn't be done in the first place.

NXT Halloween Havoc had 746k viewers even up against World Series Baseball and Basketball, that's over 200k more viewers than Rampage had the previous Friday and well above anything Rampage has done since August 20th when CM Punk debuted.

There are two reasons not to do that the first being it's not worth the risk to his life or anyone trying to catch a 200lb man coming down at that velocity, and two it took too long to set up and made everyone in the ring look stupid, it just screams "hey this is fake" I mean we all know it is but don't prove it to me while you are doing it lol. If I owned a wrestling company I wouldn't allow that and if he they went out and did it I'd fine them a huge amount of money the first time and fire them the second.

I wish they would go back to putting a roof on the cage in war games, yeah make it taller so top rope moves can be done safely but taking the roof off defeats the purpose, you aren't supposed to be able to get out.

imagine thinking TNA did not get the better of the deal lol

i bet TNA would be in ROHs position if it wasnt for the AEW deal, it brought them WAY more viewers/attention than AEW ever got from them, AEW practically just paid them big to help their belt collector story and TNA got s*** load of money and new viewers. win win

I was barely watching the last few years before the pandemic and I stopped watching completely when they went crowdless.

Thought I would be interested again when crowds were allowed back but nope. The biggest issue for wrestling seems to be that the age of the average fan seems to be increasing which is a huge indication that they're not pulling in a younger fan base.

gimmick match with an amazing ending

AEW made most out of the fact they were in costumes.

i dont remember the trick or street fight but i bet it was a throw away, lazy match...
Why would he know what their costumes were going to be?

WWE has a lot of younger fans, they have a more family friendly presentation and have fans of all ages so no one group sticks out. AEW has a very narrow age group of fans comparatively which means they are going to have a harder time growing their audience and making money like WWE does. Sadly the typical AEW fan thinks that their age group is the only one that matters, they also aren't growing. Dynamite still hasn't matched their debut episode rating and Rampage has been dropping weekly since CM Punks debut, even shows he wrestles on don't draw big numbers.

Yeah... win..

Omega isn't a draw, there is a reason AEW's audience has gotten smaller since they debuted, their entire fanbase lives on the internet and they all already know everything about the promotion, nobody else is even curious right now.

Nobody defended zombie lumberjacks, it was a good business move but it was very off putting to the fans.

Impact ratings are still extremely low and have been through the entire deal, there was really no improvement other than a couple of little hiccups here and there. Omega brought them their lowest rating ever for crying out loud.
