The Wrestling Topic

Saw someone say that maybe WWE isn't as worried about AEW anymore and simply done with hoarding wrestlers in case competition with AEW got real hot.

Sounds like a company preparing for a sale.

Only thing better than these underutilized talents going to AEW is the salt that will surely follow!

Those of you who think AEW is going to take everyone WWE releases and do something great with them must be smoking something STRONG lol. So far the vast majority of people they've taken from WWE haven't made any kind of impact at all, hell CM Punk is already old news and not a ratings driver at all.

There are a lot of arenas that require vaccination for people to enter, they also don't want anything to jeopardize the business in the future and cause them to stop touring and having to record in empty buildings again so I get cutting people who won't get the vaccine from a business perspective for sure.

But as soon as you go down that road the simple question is why not make the flu jab mandatory?

Word is AJ refuses to get the jab

Not really, the flu doesn't kill millions of people in less than a year. The highest estimate for flu related deaths globally I've seen is 650k most of whom have other health issues, are over 75 and in poor countries. Covid has killed more than 5 million people with the most deaths happening in the US, it killed more than 3 million people in 2020 alone.

I get some people being against mandatory vaccinations but we all had to get them as kids before we went to school, at some point those vaccines were new too and they didn't have the advantages of modern science that we have today.

Jax saying she was written off TV to deal with mental health issues.

She got her return schedule this week, but asked for an extended break. Didn't hear anything till she was released

That Kingston/Punk thing was bad lol I just saw it and came to comment on it then I see someone here praising it lol, what a sheep. It was so forced and so fake, you could tell they were trying to figure out what to say and I don't know if Punk is purposely being bad or not but that playing to the crowd was pathetic AF "my friends in St Louis" lol. The fight after looked really weak too, the "punches" had nothing behind them but what's even funnier is AEW has had basically 2 years of people getting jumped in the ring, after match attacks etc no bell ringing and no refs coming down to try to stop it but now all of the sudden they send their refs down, a woman and a couple of guys and some nobodies who clearly couldn't hold anyone back if they were really pissed all of the sudden broke up a fight between two "tough guys" lol. The whole thing looked really fake, almost like a first rehearsal.

Despite her wrestling skills being underpar that's a sh**ty way to get the boot.
People have been saying she should be fired for years, I don't have a ton of sympathy for her because she's been so careless with other people in the ring, she could have broken a few of the girls necks with her carelessness.

As far as Jax release there are people who signed new contracts a week or so ago and were cut, her asking for more time off likely had nothing to do with it.

The people complaining she got fired are the ones who have been saying she should have been released for the last 4 years
