Yep. No way would they have him on TV otherwise and I'm pretty sure TK just watches the network every week looking for stuff to copy.

Still be funny if he ended up in WWE I just hope this doesn't mean that squeaky voiced man child is going to make himself a TV character. Just stay out back doing coke while trying to score with Britt.

Do WWE realise that this Sundays HiaC is an all Raw event? I really hope this is the last HiaC event. The only themed show should be the Rumble IMO and Money in The Bank should either go back to WM or move it to Summerslam.

Yeah HIAC should only be used when a feud calls for it, it's silly to work things around the match rather than working that match into a place where it makes sense. They already add HIAC to Wrestlemania's etc sometimes anyway so just keep it as that kind of attraction. I wish they'd bring back Halloween Havoc from the WCW days, unfortunately I think they'll be in Saudi Arabia for the October show.

MJF performed it well but it's clearly all a work.
Just because it's a work doesn't meant it can't be entertaining. This isn't aimed at you, in fact it's aimed directly at reddit squared circle, but these jabroni "smart" marks don't get any enjoyment out of a product anyway, and they ALWAYS have to be in on everything. Wrestling is better when you can tune out the annoyingness and just let the product be the product.

My problem isn't the angle is that they are using outside dirt sheet writers to help move it along, keep it all on tv and let it be what it is.

I was thinking about why the MJF thing isn't really getting me hyped at all even though I like him, it's because there is a huge thing missing from this angle, a McMahon. When Austin had his thing vs the boss people had just found out that Vince was the owner of the company the whole time and even though we knew it was fake it was still a lot of fun because people had a feeling one way or the other about Vince and as time went on his family as well.

The CM Punk pipe bomb had him making real life complaints about the McMahon's and how they run their show. Now we have MJF upset that he's not getting more money from a guy that most AEW fans really like or just don't give a s*** about. Tony Khan isn't a "character" that people get riled up about, he's terrible on the microphone and just comes off like some whiney rich kid who is playing with life sized action figures.

Which is why someone like Regal should have been the on screen authority figure. It won't be the same but TK definitely shouldn't be on TV.

Failing to get over 1m viewers this week really hurt him...

But no really unlucky for him as I guess that also means he will miss Forbidden Door?
He isn't relinquishing the title though, they are doing another stupid interim belt.

That interim thing is so dumb, if you can't "fulfill your obligations" you relinquish it, hell have him get an automatic title shot when he comes back if it's that important but this just sounds like someone is a placeholder until you return. Can you imagine a real sport doing this? can you imagine someone winning a real title and going "I can't believe I'm the interim champion, I've trained for this all my life" lol.

"Rhodes suffered a partially torn right pectoral tendon during a brawl with Seth Rollins this past Monday on WWE RAW. The tendon tore completely off the bone during weight training on Friday."

Damn. And then he went and competed in HiaC.
That man is blatantly winning next year's Rumble.

And they put on a great match, big props

So in 1 week,

Cody
Punk
Bryan Danielson
Jeff Hardy
Adam Cole
Matt Cardona all injured

Guessing Paige will show up on AEW, wrestle a bit then get injured again and then say... so that's why WWE won't have me back in the ring!
