I gave up playing the showcase stuff in 2K22 after the 2nd match. The match requirements just drag on and on. All I ever play are extreme rules matches. The game was so much better than the previous games. Best since 2K13 for me. I'll be glad when they drop the last gen versions to see what kind of graphics they can pull off.
 


If true then that would mean he's the showcase this year.
 
I was hoping they'd do the main WWE2K series on a bi-yearly basis at least, aka every 2 years. While 2K Battlegrounds wasn't exactly what I was hoping for, it was a step in the right direction for doing different things with the WWE license. Pro wrestling games in general could stand to switch things up a bit. I've never understood why we never got a solid 2D side scrolling brawler for instance. Imagine a WWE brawler made by the TMNT Shredder's Revenge devs. Ironically, we get more experimentation with the WWE license on the mobile platform. Would be cool if they could get those games a console/PC release in a collection of some kind.
 
WWE will want these every year. They almost took the license away due to them missing a year.

If anything they should do like COD and have alternative studios work on it.
