I remember when the 360 came out and they stated that EVERY game had to support voice chat and custom soundtracks, which I felt was a much needed addition; What are they doing for the XboxOne in this regard?

Wish list -
1. every multiplayer game required hot drop co-op
2. video editing wise I hope they allow multiple people to voice over a video even if we are in different locations. Basically, a friend of mine can download my clip and we can both talk over it without having to be in the same location.

Oh I assumed they were still include, just used them as a reference to show something the ps3 neglected and to see what people feel as possible on Xbox one.

MS provides details on Smartglass for Xbox One.

http://www.webpronews.com/microsoft-details-smartglass-for-xbox-one-2013-09

In a dedicated Q&A from Microsoft this week, the Xbox team detailed all of the enhancements coming to SmartGlass for the Xbox One. The team notes that the biggest change is that SmartGlass for Xbox One is much faster than its predecessor. This is achieved through your tablet or smartphone being able to directly talk to the Xbox One instead of having to go through a datacenter first.
The Xbox team notes that SmartGlass can be used for matchmaking outside of the game you’re currently playing. Let’s say that you’re playing Dead Rising 3, but want to look for games in Call of Duty: Ghosts. You can start searching for games in the latter while you continue to play the former.

Getting my XBox One [hopefully] on the 21st Nov and decided to take the Friday and Saturday off work so I can fully test the console and its features out.

Getting Dead Rising 3 and Ryse at the moment.

Killer Instinct and most likely Watch Dogs for me at launch. I'm not sure about Ryse yet, as I'm just not sure if the multiplayer will be good enough to keep interest going.

I'm just happy there are no bots...sweet jesus victor christ there are no bots.

Oh and the forum width is wider than my old Palm Pre! 2013 up in dis bitch!

making new strives in the new 2013 right?

The new smart glass features sound pretty good. I've only used it with the 360 to freak out my housemate as he was browsing the dash...

PS4 is better!!!!!

from the IGN AMA with Mark Whitten
Microsoft required Xbox Live Arcade games to have a demo, making it easy to test out these titles before buying. Now that "games are games are games" what can we expect from demos on Xbox One?

Whitten: Not all games will have demos like Xbox Live arcade games have had on Xbox 360. That said, we are going to work on lots of ways to make it easy for you to find and try new games on the service.
i hope he is referencing full retail download games and not arcade/indie.

Some interesting stuff from the latest AMA

1) Confirmed no region locks on hardware/software
2) Likely to see QR codes instead of 25 digit codes (yay)
3) No HD-DVD support (do people still have one of those)
4) inactive GT's may be released.
