There should be a way to settle flame wars... Thunderdome Style

I would support a mod to the forum where two or more members (picked by the mods) can only post in one thread, and after 24 hours the member with the most 'votes' gets to go free and the others get a 48 hour ban.

They could continue their flame war, apologize and try to get sympathy, work members through off-forum routes... whatever they want. But only one member leaves unbanned.

You could call it the Thunderdome.

That would be funny. Unfortunately, I don't know if it would be fair. The site seems to have a lot more Xbox fans than PS fans (judging by post counts, anyhow). I think the PS guy would be at a disadvantage, going in. Maybe there would be a way to work it, so that it could be fair to both. I kind of like the idea, though. Fanboy cage match.
