Three indie titles to watch out for: Tengami, Shovel Knight, 1001 Spikes

I checked out a ton of games at IndieCade. Here are my top three selections:

Tengami is a beautifully crafted game with a lovely, subdued art style:



Shovel Knight pays homage to every single great classic NES game, and then some:



1001 Spikes starts you (and up to three other players on the same screen) with 1001 lives. It's unforgiving and at times, insanely difficult, but when you solve a level, there's no other feeling like it:

Tengami looks intriguing. Which platforms is it on or is it just Wii U? My little girl would probably like it.

I was wondering the same thing. Only for Wii U? If so, feh. If not, I'll keep an eye out for Tengami.

Shovel Knight looks really fun.
1001 Spikes has been out for a few years now on Xbox 360 under Aban Hawkins and the 1000 Spikes. It's a pretty fun game as well. Hard though.

It says for ios, pc, mac and Wii u. Guess it's pc then..
