I had fun with the other Transformers games. I might get this one. Here is the new Escalation trailer which looks like fun.

Hey Buster,

Thanks for posting. I love escalation mode in War for Cybertron and not so much in Fall of Cybertron.

I really have low expectations for this game so I'm hoping to be surprised.

(Fingers crossed)

Agreed, I have low expectations, but I want to be surprised

I just booted it up, first level. I'll let you know in a bit.

I have it on the PC.... No competitive multi-player,some parts have pretty bad graphics and MP on the PC is locked @30 fps. BUT it does feel like its connected to the High Moon games and is enjoyable.
The Bonus pack unlocks in the vein of BF4 is a nice touch as well. I say buy it but don't spend more then $40 for it.(I got two copies for $26 a piece)

I knew there wasn't any competitive multiplayer. I was excited for the co-op Escalation mode. But when I found videos of this game I was struck by the fact that many of the animations looked incredibly similar to the High Moon games and the art assets looked like they were ported from the Cybertronian series which kind of cooled my enthusiasm for the title. It still looks like it could offer a fun ride but maybe not at full price.

The campaign feels like the other games for the most part, but it kind of reminds me of the last Batman game that wasn't built by Rocksteady. Just not as much polish.

PS4? is it 1080p/60fps in single player/multi-player?

nah 360, I couldn't rent it on ps4. I also played the others on 360/ps3

compared to the previous games on the same console it just feels like a step back, not by much.

I've been playing escalation mode with my daughter and having fun. It isn't as good as the previous in story mode but I did find it picks up and have enjoyed that too.
I am sure it will be ravaged (no pun intended) in the reviews. I'm not sure if it is good or bad that I am able to enjoy games that are far from AAA. Lol
