Two Consoles, One Gamertag? (not home console)

Any help would be appreciated. I am moving into a new house in a few weeks and finally having my man cave built that I have always wanted. My question is can I have my gamertag on two consoles in my house with neither of the two being the home console? I want my Xbox in my man cave to be my main one but I also want to have access to all of my stuff on the living room Xbox. I have 5 Xbox's in my house and game share with my daughter on one already but that is not the console I will be using, that one is in her bedroom and I believe I have to have that set as my home console so she can share my gold.

I do have an external hard drive that I currently am not using if that helps at all with any of this..... Hope my post makes sense
 
Well you can have a gamertag on both console but not able to sign both at the same time.
If you trying to share you need to make her console your home and you can still sign in your system and she can play all the games you have.

I didn't think this was the case, so I can have my gamertag on 2 consoles that are not my home console and all my games and Gold membership will be on both? For some reason I thought I could only do my home console and one other.....I wouldn't need to be signed into both consoles at the same time so that would not be a problem.

One can give gold and gamepass and will benefit both.
