Uncharted: The Lost Legacy

Uncharted: The Lost Legacy patch file size
The digital download of the game itself clocks in at around 44.7GB. After patches the file size is around 48GB. Essentially making version 1.01 being roughly 3.3GB.

I saw that a few days ago, but read they'd release 1.02 at launch and didn't know if it would be any bigger or not. Getting angry at companies leaving out content on SP games to download at launch.

Edit: Both updates were around 850mb combined for all 0 people who need to know.

Played the first two chapters. Feels like Uncharted 2 meets Uncharted 4 - which is the best combination. Excited to play more. I do miss Nate, though.

I've got to Chapter 4 I believe and it's sucked me in just like the last one. Chloe is a bit of a smart aleck like Nate so I haven't missed much there. I am a bit overwhelmed at times at how sprawling parts of the game are but that is actually a good thing. The protaganist hasn't really been anything memorable...yet.

Been playing it but haven't really gotten into it too much, I like the main character but I'm just not being drawn in yet, hopefully that changes.

I've only played up until the part where you find your first treasure. I didn't install or update the game until 2am and mommy made me go to bed.

Kept going and started to get into it more and finished it, didn't grab me like UC4 did early but it's still a good game. I think Chloe is a great character and I'm glad she was the one they focused on and not the rumored Sam DLC that was talked about. They could have given Nadine a bit more of a personality but at least that started to show up more later on. Overall good game, not as good as UC4 but still a worthy UC game.

I like this game much better than U4. I'm still on chapter 4 taking my time, but so far the game is far less tedious than the previous game was for me. I'm not much into stories in any game, so I don't even really know what's going on and have no idea if it's better or worse than U4.

Nice to get reviews a little early for a change. Looks like it's doing well. 85 average, with almost everything in the 8's or 9's.

Not bad for a game that was supposedly going to be DLC and nothing special. Especially when you compare it to a game like RotTR(86 on X1) which it apparently ripped off more than UC4 did, giving the female lead to Chloe. So a half measure game is as good as a full game, i guess. Naughty God does it again.

I'm only on chapter 5, but the environments and level design so far are superb.

Great game. Impressive that they did this in such a short amount of time.

I finished the game on Friday. Nearly everything about this game beats Uncharted 4.

Glad you liked it, I liked it too but I disagree about it being better than UC4. The chemistry between Chloe and Nadine simply wasn't at the level that it is between Nate and Sully, hell Nadine had no personality at all until the second half of the game. Being that it is a shorter game I can see why that happened but I just don't think it's at UC4's level overall, it's still good though once it gets going.

I honestly put story last in pretty much all games. Graphics and gameplay are always my priority. I absolutely hated the uninteresting story between Nate and whoever his brother was. I don't like the old guy either. This was more action packed with an overall far better location for me. The worst part of this game was the worst part of the last game.

I just hope they continue with this series no matter who the main character is.

Yeah I hated Sam as well, I thought he was very unlikeable and I hated the way Troy Baker did the voice work for him.
I also hated that he was brought in for the Lost Legacy, thankfully it was a smaller part but still I just don't like his character.
Graphically I'd give the nod to UC4, the faces on the models looked more realistic than Chloe's, for some reason she just doesn't look human to me lol and her facial expressions aren't as clean as Drake's were, then again they had a lot more time to work on UC4 than they did for TLL so I'm sure that played a part in some parts just not having the same level of polish. I do love Claudia Black's acting though, I hope she is used again if the series continues, I also hope they get rid of Sam and don't go with the Daughter who showed up at the end of UC4. Sorry if that is a spoiler to anyone but UC4 has been out for over a year, if you haven't played it by now you can only blame yourself when something gets spoiled lol.

I mostly agree about Sam in this game but it does help with Nadine's arc

NO WAY!! I don't have a way to see U4 with the Pro update, so idk how good it can look.

They will. Uncharted is a cash cow like Mario and Halo before it. Sony would be crazy to not milk it for another generation at least. Wouldn't be surprised if we get an Uncharted 5 with a different main character or even more spin offs. Would be interesting if they went the same route as Halo 5 and teased Drake being the villain who just couldn't let go of the lifestyle. Only given Naughty Dog's track record, it would be done right.

I'm only on Ch. 4, but so far, I'm enjoying this more than Uncharted 4. UC4 had too much family drama for me -- that's not what I go to Uncharted for. I go to Uncharted for adventuring in exotic lands -- climbing, swinging, jumping, shooting, wise cracking. This game is all about that. I'm fine with Chloe as the lead. I kind of miss Nate, but a change is nice, too.

I need to get back into it. I get sidetracked by other games too easily.
I did in fact end up getting it for $20 though. lol

Started the game tonight. Lots of puzzles, driving and fighting as well as climbing in chapter one. Not bad so far!

Can't remember what chapter I am on in this game but I would estimate im about 1/3 or 1/2 way through the game. Been really enjoying it but just haven't had time to knock it totally out.

I am on Chapter 8 (I Googled, and it says that the game is 11 chapters). The game is "good" but not nearly as good as previous entries. Very little action, and the dialog between the two girls is funny and witty at times, but doesn't click with me the way it did with Nathan Drake and others from the previous entries. One chapter I ride around an elephant, one chapter I drive around a jeep in a semi-open area with nothing to do but look for tokens, another chapter I aligned some shadows. Seems like I encounter about 5 enemies in an area, usually a long time before I see any. Seems there is like 1 puzzle per chapter?

Animations, lighting are all top notch and some of the best in the business IMO. Textures, as usual, are too glossy/cartoony. Could be me, but it seems the faces are more realistic in this Lost Legacy than they are in UC4, even though it's the same engine. Maybe they had a chance to make a few improvements.

Looking forward to finishing this, but in no hurry for another Uncharted at the moment. They need to revamp the series, it seems a bit stale with this particular entry. Odd considering, UC4 was the best of the 4 IMO. I loved the Nathan/Sam interaction as much as I loved Alan Wake/Barry interaction.

Did you play the previous game? This one has far more action overall compared to the last game.

I have played UC 1-4. This one for sure has substantially less action than 4. It’s been a long time since I played 1-3 so I can’t confirm the amount of action in those.

No way dude. I've never attempted to replay 4 because of all of the tedious slow walking and listening to boring conversations between the brothers. All of the rest I've played multiple times.

You would definitely hate TLOU then, because there is a lot more of that in TLOU then any Uncharted game. I personally enjoy the downtime in between action sections to explore.

The ending was the best, and most active part. A great way to end what ended up being an average game IMO. 7/10.
