We played a bunch of customs but people didn't really get on until after 10pm. We had 6 people at one point and went into a 3v3 territories game and wound up losing someone so it was 3 vs 2 so I ended the game early. We played a round of rockets on Prisoner. The mistake we made was that we decided to try to take the party into matchmaking and it got all f***ed up for there. Some people were able to exit out, I was stuck and had to quit the game from the Home Screen and restart the game. Once we got back in I sent invites and we had a hard time getting the party back together.
Next time we stick strictly to customs. I'm around Mon, Tues, and Thursday nights after 9:30 to play....however, I had a small group of guys from another site and we've settled on Tuesday nights as our designated Halo MCC night so the best chance of our being able to get 6+ people to play will be that night.
Despite all the problems, the games we played were still fun. Hopefully if we ingrain Tuesday night as Halo night in people's heads we'll be able to get a big enough following that we can get some good custom nights in.
Worked a little big on Forging last night...started deleting everything from Sandbox so I can make a blank canvas to play on. I like the smaller part of the map that is located down below.
