I'm in need to replace my Mac and PC keyboards, wired prefered. It probably won't be used for gaming much, but I do like the feel of some cherry keys found on the Razer keyboards. Lighting is cool but not necessary, the ones with macro keys along the far left seem neat to use as shortcuts for when working in photoshop or illustrator. Oh, and maybe one with USB ports :p What say you for one for both?

For keyboards, honestly the best thing is to check out your local Best Buy and try what they have out (then buy online where it is much cheaper) :)

Keyboards come down to feel and how much noise you're comfortable with. I'm using a Logitech G910 just because it is a lot quieter and I like the feel. The keyboard is usually badly overpriced but if you can find it on sale it is a good pickup.

Generally you can't go wrong with Razer. I really like their mouse especially. When I tried their keyboards they were a little loud but not terrible. Right now I'm running a Logitech wireless G903, but I kind of miss my Razer deathadder. Even though it is wired it had a great feel.

Really though, if you can get to a nearby Best Buy they usually have a display set up you can check out for yourself.

If you haven't bought anything yet, I'm a fan of SteelSeries stuff. I have their Apex M750 keyboard and Arctis 5 headset. For mouse I have the Logitech G502 and like that.

I agree with kerosene.

Keyboard is a bout feel. Test what you feel best. Also i think RAZER and Logitech use their own switches. But I could be wrong

I know the Logitech G910 does have their own switches. Not sure about Razer. The 910 definitely has a very different feel from other mechanical keyboards.

It's already been said, but you really want to set out to a retail store like Best Buy and try the keyboards/mouses out before you buy. Get a physical feel for what you want/need, plus they might have a decent keyboard on clearance/sale.

I've been using the Corsair K95 Platinum with Cherry MX speed's and Logitech G Pro Wireless for several years. Love em,
