What’s your GOTG and GOTY (for 2019for each console and or PC followed up by a runner up for each respective choice... no wrong answers.

I’ll tally them up everyone’s vote later, say December 23 as the final day...unless someone needs an extension?

Ah crap, I missed your part that said Game of the Generation. I have to think about that. I was only doing GOTY stuff.

Hmm not really sure. I don't even know if I remember what games I played earlier this year let alone the entire generation lol. Game of the Year I might go with Outer Worlds. Could just be that I'm currently playing it so it's fresh, but looking back at achievements/trophies to see what else I played this year and it doesn't seem like it was much in terms of 2019 games. Creature in the Well would be my indie game if you want to break it down a bit more. Game of the Generation I think for Xbox I'd go with Killer Instinct and PS4 I'd go with Horizon Zero Dawn. Although now that it's back in the light with a sequel shown at the Game Awards, I may put Hellblade on there.

Edit: I should say there are plenty of exclusives I have yet to play, like God of War or Spider-Man that I'm sure would be really high on my list. Won't get to them until sometime next year though.

They're both awesome. Modor came first so it gets my vote. War is probably the better game though. Play them both.

GotY: Probably God of War or Spider Man (those came out this year, right? Or was that last year?!) maybe Red Dead 2.

GotG: the Witcher 3. Without question.

Many people and many sites are giving Witcher 3 game of the generation. I have the game, an I have like a half hour in. I bought it on release day. It didn't click with me, but I was thinking of going back to it since it's so praised. What makes it so great?

The stories, characters, lore and scope of the game. You're not gonna see that after only half an hour. The game had me after the Ladies of the Wood quest.

I think my GotY is probably Control, though Outer Worlds was great too. GotG has to be Microtransaction Mania, or maybe Knack.
 
GOTY for me is Days Gone with MK11 a close second.
GOTG Horizon ZD with God of War and Witcher 3 right behind it.

Half an hour?! What is that, like just after the fist fight at the inn? That's assuming you went straight there. It's impossible to get a measure of the game in so little a time.
