I put about 3 hours into the game tonight via EA Access and got to what I feel was near the end of the 2nd level and my little yarn boy got stuck. Not me, I was getting through the puzzles at a fair pace, neither too easy nor too frustrating. I may restart to my previous checkpoint (if possible, I may have to redo the whole level) since I was enthralled enough to want to finish. Very disappointing to run into a glitch in an otherwise engaging indie title.
Overall the the game is very pretty (but not mind-blowing), controls responsive enough for the action, and a great assortment of puzzles to figure out your traversal (though I didn't see more than 1 way to solve a puzzle). There are hidden items to find along the way which is about the only extra next to completing the level I have seen (no added powers, leveling up, time awards, multiplayer, etc, etc,...seems bare bones in extra stuff). Music is relaxing and fits theme. I guess I am on the fence about buying until I hear how long the game is and where game takes you on difficulty.
It is priced at $19.99 ($17.49 for EA Access members) which seems fair from what I've seen. Of course knowing it will likely be available in the EA Vault in a year gives me further hesitancy.
