They use to be. But sometime during the XB1 gen they moved to Sunday afternoons.I thought they were on the Monday and Sony on the Tuesday but my memory is like a sieve.

Gonna be Flight Simulator this summer. Then FH5 and Infinite. All three will probably be the new console bar.
They don't need wizardry to make it look as good if not better on XSX.I still personally think Flight Simulator on PC is the best looking game I've seen. The sky, sunsets, plane models and weather are above all else in my opinion. Along with the terrain mapping.
The XSx version will be cut down a bit, but if they do some wizardry it could end up looking amazing as well.
If it requires online connectivity then I could see it looking strikingly close…but I don’t think they even have xsx racks setup in their serves yet, I think they’re all XB1SsI still personally think Flight Simulator on PC is the best looking game I've seen. is there any video of what it looks like when offline mode is on PCs?
So, you are mistaking xCloud with general Azure compute here. They don't use the XB1S machines to do this kind of cloud compute on the backend as they only use those to serve actual game sessions for xCloud. This way, there is no issue with compatibility of the games as they are running on actual Xbox hardware (unlike Stadia which required games to be ported which means development work). For cloud compute, they would just use whatever Azure compute components that make sense (i.e. these could be identical to the specs they use for the PC version). That said, I'm not sure if they are even doing that or if the PC version does (assume so based on this convo) but just have experience with Azure and know that the XB1S blades are solely used for xCloud. If it requires online connectivity then I could see it looking strikingly close…but I don’t think they even have xsx racks setup in their serves yet, I think they’re all XB1Ss

So Flight Simulator will be running on Azure AND xCloud if you are playing it on your iPhone? So, you are mistaking xCloud with general Azure compute here. Yes. xCloud would handle the game session and Azure would handle the cloud compute/streaming world stuff. Your phone is just a glorified micro screen in this scenario. I've played a bit of xCloud and playing on a phone is....not fun IMO.So Flight Simulator will be running on Azure AND xCloud if you are playing it on your iPhone?
Yes, of course. This is for the standard game session and will allow higher fidelity for the stream and get up to the quality that Stadia is currently at. If I have a physical Xbox Series X in my home, it would stream world data from Azure servers not xCloud. xCloud is just a replacement for the local console. Any additional cloud compute would still be done in Azure.Microsoft to upgrade its xCloud servers to Xbox Series X hardware in 2021
