Numerous sites have this date as the date for release. I think there is some traction here as in the Best Buy Canada flyer, it has a box shot promoting pre-orders for June 30 launch.

Of course, the June 30 date can be bogus, but if it wasn't so concrete, they' just say Pre-order without having an actual date listed.

LOL. I never knew smashed windows result in plumes of smoke. I wonder if car thieves take that into account when jacking a car.

Nice! Future cars have butt sensors which automatically close the door for you too.
 
I think people are being overly harsh in this game. Just wait to play it. No doubt Ubisoft would like this franchise to be successful so they can make a sequel, so you can bet they are pouring all their resources to make this game as good as possible.

As for the June 30th release date, sounds great to me. It's nice to have a great game released in the summer to break the 4-5 month gap between high-quality Spring and Fall releases. There are a lot of games coming out this February-April with Thief, Titanfall, South Park (another Ubisoft game), Elder Scrolls Online, Infamous, Last of Us DLC, etc. Not to mention I'm sure a lot of us are still catching up on this past Fall/Winter offerings.
 
I will not get this day one, waiting to hear reviews from you guys and the typical sites. But the June release is a good Idea especially if the game isn't as good as we hope.
 
I really didn't have any intention of getting it but I hope it's a good game. The spring and summer months seem to be pretty stale for games.
 
Why all the sudden skepticism? It wasn't like this last time I checked. Knowing Ubisoft it will all be based on conquering towers and earning new regions just like every other Ubisoft Montreal games, but at least this one seems like fun.

I think it's just that people were all hyped up for it at launch because there weren't really that many games coming out at launch of the new consoles that people were truly hyped for. Now that it's been pushed back people have just moved on.
 
The game was never a day one for me, though it looked interesting enough for me to give it a shot. Sadly it's looking less and less appealing...
 
Eh...my like for the game hasn't changed. Nothing I've heard or seen recently has made me not want it.
 
Was never big into this game.... more like an "on the fence" game for me..... but oddly the best preview of this game was the first one done I think E3 2012. Though not surprisingly, that was probably done on a maxed out PC.

The game will be released about 2 years after E3 2012. Will be interesting to see how good the game looks and plays compared to any prior previews. It also has an extra 7 months of dev time added to it vs it's original Nov 2013 launch.
 
Well it looks downgraded every time they show it so interesting to see how it looks now.

since dying light and mad max moved out to fall
I really want this game to come out about then
there is always a dearth of games in the summer
 
Wow, they must be running into some issues to push it back that far. I'm probably not going to buy a PS4 until the summer, now. There's so much PS3 stuff I want to play, and InFamous is the only PS4-exclusive title that I'm interested in and is coming out before the summer.
 
Not sure why people are down on Watch Dogs. The game looks awesome to me. I'll be getting it day one.
