This past weekend I finished Horizon Zero Dawn. Great game!! Loved the story and really interested to see where the sequel goes.
Aloy dies in a fiery car crash. Didn't wear her seatbelt. /endspoiler
The sequel is more or less the same with gameplay and story. Visuals on the other hand... spectacular
Yeah it was interesting though I started it, and the opening sequence/tutorial is in the jaw dropping environment, but quickly you are out of that and back into the mostly brown desert like areas of the first game. I enjoyed the first game. I spend 70+ hours on the game, including the DLC frozen wild. But the gameplay from the sequel looks like the OG, hence less desire to play.The sequel is more or less the same with gameplay and story. Visuals on the other hand... spectacular
I have the same issue with dishonored. I played the main game as well as all the DLCs. But cannot be bothered to play the sequel even when its free on game pass.
I think its a combination of burnout & feeling a lack of sufficient new things in the sequels.
Fortnite doesn't belong here, it isn't even a real videogame.

I've been jumping between Horizon: Forbidden West and Outriders on PS5.
For any of you gamers who played Outriders but got burned out. I think now is the time to get back into it since it appears there's a bug where the new Apocalypse gear is routinely dropping with tier 3 mods on them making farming for more powerful gear a lot easier. But with all the different combinations for gear its still a challenge to get exactly what you're looking for.

I already played a bit of Hugh Neutron online and against AI, but I plan to do some arcade mode with him in NASB this weekend. Might hit the discord and see if anyone there wants to party up. Really just looking for this weekend to be a really chill gaming weekend. Been super busy with family stuff, traveling, among other things, and it'll be nice to just chill out for most of Saturday at least.
Got my Darth Vader skin, now i'm just accumulating stars. DBZ update tomorrow so maybe might get a skin?

gunplay (whatever that means) is just one part of Fortnite. What make Fortnite interesting & varies is the tools (Shockwave, gapple, portals) you have for play & counterplay. Most stuctrures can be destory, grounds can be burned which add extra layer of depth you do not get in many MP shooters.
But you do you. Fun is subjective.
