What are you playing this weekend?

Need that crowned victory for the boost XP

You should try the new combat Assault rifle before they nerf it. Its OP. Make sure to spam the trigger rather than hold the trigger, & you get bloom free precision at mid range with high firing rate.

I got many high K Bomb & Victory Royale with this bad boy.

I tried it but was holding the trigger lol.

Good to know. The burst just does so well all around. Though I'm guessing the combat AR is more for short to mid range?

I'm playing both The Stick of Truth and The Fractured But Whole. These games still make me laugh and right now I need a good laugh.
I replayed Stick of Truth in the past half year or so and went a good bit into Fractured But Whole, not sure if I finished that one again or not. Good games. Please enjoy!

The thing is, many people hate fortnite before even playing. I thought it was kiddy and stupid as well.

Yes, it’s still kiddy and stupid, but it’s also very fun, especially in team play. It feels more fluid, more counter play, tools to use in combat, traverse, then more rigid one like war zone.

If you look at war zone, you add armor plate to “heal”. If you are 1 bar, you add u til 3 bar. If there is armor plate, you pick up automatically.

In fortnite, there are many healing each have pro and con, and you have to decide which to pick, & it’s not a simple choice is better than other. You are given 5 slots between everything, making it a hard choice between weapons, gadgets, heals. There are lot of depth dispute looking cartoony.

One other thing I like is the game is far less campy. There are a lot more open areas, and structures can be destroy reveal more entry, escape points.

I just like how I can just casually jump into a game and have fun with it, even solo. The game is even more fun with friends in a squad.

It is kind of funny how some can call Fortnite kiddy and childish but have no problems with playing psychonauts 2 and claiming it is GOTY worthy when that is just as kiddy and cartoon looking 😋

Overwatch is another game that looks cartoony but never gets as much hate as Fortnite. Go figure 🤷‍♂️

Kobe Bryant ( RIP) used to say, people do not hate good players, they hate the great one.

Fortnite got a lot of hate because of its popularity. It’s cool to hate popular thing. Like how people hate apple.

One other thing about fortnite, is, weapon switching and knowing when to use which is a mini chess game that often determines kill or be killed.
I seen many of your clips, and it is clear you have understand and apply this in your combat.

You do not see this dynamics in many games. You use a AR/ SmG for general use. And maybe a king range scope one for distance. You barely have to switch in heat of combat. When you do, you probably dead while switching.

I mean with building Fortnite was annoying/not very fun. Was a kiddy shooter lego building game. They cared more about tower defense building than actually fighting. Was stupid and the reason I didn’t play the game. It was massively popular because kids ate it up.

Now with the no build the game is a lot of fun and more laid back. I enjoy playing it with my kids, beats going against the sweats constantly in Warzone so a nice change of pace when I want a break. Graphics and gameplay are smooth I like it. I’ve also noticed far more adult shooter fans I know have been sticking with this game now as an alternate to play.

It's more Sweaty definitely with building.

There's a very high skill ceiling for that. I do enjoy watching FNCS and the pros play in tournaments though.

That's why no build is fun, it's casual you can just jump in and still have a chance to win as long as you play smart and have an okay aim.

Going to give Fortnite another shot. I need something I can play Solo. PUBG matchmaking takes too long. Apex doesn't have solos still and randoms are garbage. Warzone wont even start up. That leaves Fortnite.

Plus....

MotoGP 22.
Horizon 5 Hot Wheels.

No build solos is fun I’ve been playing it some lately exploring the map.
