Is that still supported? I remember we used to be able to play saved playlist while playing games (I used it mainly playing Forza). I cant remember if this was an OGXbox feature, or a something that was pimped in the early days of 360. In anycase, is this feature still available?

it still works. I either stream it from my computer or attach my phone.

Still works.

The GTA games and NFL2K did it best IMO on the original XBox.

I use it with every game that I play. Works flawlessly.

I know what you mean it was always best when the playlist would play through the game, instead it just plays over the game; I liked when the music would stop or go quitter for scenes in the game then back to full pelt after the scene.

Would be good if they brought this feature in/back.

That is game dependent. They still support that. It works that way in some of my newest games.

I'd like this as an option in all games, I wonder if they could make this happen...probably not as it's game dependant as you say.

Eh, I remember when we were be able to play our own music in games the first time on original Xbox. We thought it was the best thing ever happened in gaming world. :)

Word. I don't even remember the music on the original Forza, just the stuff I had playing in lieu of it.

do you know how many CDs i burned to OGX? lol. and to add, do you know (you probably do) how long it took me to burn those CDs:laugh:

I assume it would still be there. If not, it would be a major oversight. Nevertheless, I personally never use it.

Scene It worked impressively well, for it not being a real "video game". It would pause songs for every video clip, and it just worked well in a social environment.

I love how 360 worked with iPod Classic, also. Too bad it doesn't do the same with iPod Touch or smart phones through Smartglass.

Speaking of this topic, I was surprised when they unveiled Xbox Music, but didn't combine the HDD music player within it. The music player is really showing it's age! I would assume that it would be an all in one player/service on Xbox One, but I have yet to hear anything about that.
