Justice League Dark: Apokolips War - GREAT

Pretty surprised at the emotional cues in the movie. There were a few moments that were actually fairly moving. Some surprising story elements and beats. Shock value very high in this. Not suitable for younger audiences.

Clara (2018 film) - WONDERFUL

Beautiful little film about the search for extraterrestrial life. Kinda like Contact (Jodie Foster), but better. Can't stop thinking about this one.
Thought about this little gem today. I should re-watch it.

Re-watched Back to the Future 1 and 2 (watching 3 tonight).

Part 1 (1985) holds up VERY well.

Part 2 (1989) was surprising for me. The last time I watched it was so long ago, I barely remembered what the plot was. There were a lot of turns that the movie takes that are quite clever, despite the fact that the CG effects are horribly dated. It's particularly fascinating to watch after having seen Avengers Endgame, which plays around with timelines and such. Also, the trailer for Part 3 shown at the end of Part 2 must have been a hoot to watch in theaters (I think I watched it on video for my first viewing), especially since Part 3 was released only 6 months later.

Amazing that Part 2 and 3 were filmed back-to-back, then released so closely to each other. I wonder if Avatar's sequels will be released like this?

BTTF 3: Another surprisingly good watch. BTTF 2 is great for the complex way they use time travel. BTTF 3 is great for being just a huge bow on the series. I appreciate both films far more now than when I was young. I’m pretty sure I didn’t get half of the jokes as a kid, and the time travel aspects are a bit more complex than how I understood them to be. So good.

Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure: Did not age well. I did laugh at the absurd dialogue they gave Bill & Ted, but none of the other gags really got me. Time to watch the sequel, and then wait for part 3.

Primal Tales of Savagry: Magnificent

From the legendary Tartakovsky, comes a story about an early man and his life in a savage prehistoric land.

Absolutely entertaining and an instant classic. Exceptional art direction and a captivating story as well. There is ZERO dialogue in this.

Watched Lockout this past weekend. Watched it back in theaters and it was a fun enough popcorn flick. Saw it was trending on Netflix so said what the hell. Still just stupid fun.

Valley Girl: great soundtrack

It's a sequel/re-make of the original (which I never saw), but basically as an episode of Glee. Yes, it's a musical.

Movie was balls to the wall chaos and I loved it. Love how much shade Sandler threw the Academy during the whole process, made me remember why I love him.

The film was a train wreck I couldn’t turn away from. Parts make you so uncomfortable. It’s a really well done character piece.
