What movies have you seen recently?

I have a feeling Swede rooted for the AIDS in the movie Philadelphia...
Oh My God Wow GIF

Yeah whatevers on HBO Max. Seemed like they added a bunch of stuff in there to lead into JL.

Really liked Ben Affleck as Batman and Bruce Wayne. Thought he did a great job
It got a lot of hate but I’ve always enjoyed the film. My only gripes are Eisendberg was not a good Lex and the “Martha” scene could of been different.

Idk I don't know enough about Lex to say whether or not he was bad at it, but he was definitely who I was most hesitant about. I personally didn't mind and was looking forward to seeing what's next for him in JL.

My biggest gripe was the amount of stuff that they had Lois Lane doing. Particularly her throwing the spear into the water and s***. What was the point of that lol.

I like him in other movies he just seemed miss cast in this movie as Lex. If I remember right she throws it in then goes back for it lol.

Yeah I could see that. He plays an eccentric character well though which is probably why he was casted in that role. I also love Jesse Eisenberg, especially in the Social Network as that's actually my favorite movie of all time.

I will say I found myself wanting the dude from Smallville in that role lol. That's the only Lex Luthor for me

Esit: Also LOL that's exactly what happened, except Superman went in to get it but she had to fish him out anyway. s*** was so dumb and a complete waste of like 10 mins overall

I thought he was stuck with bad dialogue.

Raya and the Last Dragon: Pretty good

The story is original - not based on an old folk's tale or fable. Interesting story, with a fun cast of characters. I think this film definitely could have benefited from some musical numbers though. The animation looked fantastic.

Not quite an instant classic, but I can see some spin-off shows featuring some of the supporting cast.

Boss Level: Outstanding comedy/action flick

I didn't think this movie would be THAT good. It's Groundhog Day meets Kill Bill, and Scott Pilgrim Saves the World. The writing is spot on, action is fantastic, has a great soundtrack, and is action-packed.

I rate it a 9.5/10
First I've heard of this movie. Went and read the synopsis on Wikipedia and it sounds like Edge of Tomorrow minus aliens. Adding to my watchlist.

Haven’t even heard of this and it’s on Hulu nice! Thanks for the heads up I’ll check it out.
