What movies have you seen recently?

My sister had me watch the Santa Clause with her, I had never seen it before. It's a nice little Christmas movie, not a huge Tim Allen fan but the movie was fun.

The Matrix Reloaded - Average

The Matrix Revolutions - Good

First time seeing them and getting prepped for the next one. Zion battle was epic, and Neo/Smith final fight was what it needed to be.
Which one had that long club Mtv segment where they were dancing in a cave? that went on FOREVER lol.

Indecent Proposal - Below Average

Saw it when I was younger, pissed me off watching it this time. What a clown Harrelson was. His wife leaves him, bangs a billionaire, she lives the life for a while while he's wallowing in misery and hating life. When it ends she comes running back to him and he just accepts her back. f*** that.
I bet a woman wrote it, always a double standard when they cheat lol.

I forgot but I remember what you’re talking about.
BTW I checked and it was a woman that wrote the screenplay for Indecent Proposal lol. It's based on a book a guy wrote though, not sure if anything is different in the end.

How the Grinch Stole Christmas! (TV Short 1966) - Great

I just have watched this as a kid, and I know the story, but I didn’t remember much of it. Glad it wasn’t behind a paywall like Charlie Brown which I want to watch. May have to do a month of AppleTV.

When we got back home yesterday evening I got Venom 1 and 2 bundle on sale on Vudu I had not gotten around to watching them. They were decent entertainment. I did get a kick out of Eddie and Venom’s interactions throughout lol.

Trying to watch some of the holiday Blus this last week.

Krampus - The Naughty Cut - 4KUHD - Brand new 4KUHD from Scream Factory. Excellent Dolby Vision and Atmos presentation. The new "naughty cut" was a little under whelming, most people may not even pickup on the differences as most of the added scenes are so short and mostly inconseuential. Has a large number of cool new interviews with key cast and crew members in the special features, which I enjoyed a great deal. I've always enjoyed this movie, and this is far and away the best it's ever looked and sounded.

Die Hard - 4KUHD - I bought this in 4K several years ago, probably when it came out, but still had never watched it. Has a really nice HDR presentation. The movie mostly takes place at night, so you get a lot of great light, fire, and explosion effects. Great 4K detail as well, I picked out several things (holiday decorations, writing, etc.) in the background that I'd never noticed in the film before after 30 years of watching it. Classic, definitely worth owning on 4KUHD.
