What movies have you seen recently?

Really liked The Covenant. It's not amazing or anything but it's worth a watch and I like many of the actors quite a bit.

I can't believe people didn't like that movie. I thought it was great.

Right up there with Reign of Fire as underrated well done fun movies.

I didn't think the villain really brought the story together.

This oddly makes me think of the floundering efforts to build a Universal connected universe. They tried to kick it off with Dracula: Untold. Then with a new Mummy movie. The classic character teamup thing doesn't seem to come together.

Conan The Barbarian (2011) - Now i know why I never hear anyone talk about this remake / reboot.
War of the Arrows - Entertaining Korean archer action movie.

Fast & Furious X - Meh. Not a fan. Was less ridiculous than the last one, though.

Hypnotic - Poor.

Gone Baby Gone - Very good.

Didn't even know there was a Conan remake........I'm intrigued and need to look into it (you're probably like, don't even bother dude) haha.

Reign of Fire is SOOO good. The premise sounds completely ridiculous so I think most people took a pass on it. I know I thought it should absolutely be garbage and yet it was awesome if you just buy into.
2 big actors aswell.

I always think Woody Harrelson is also in it, but he's not. I have no idea why I think that.

Gerard Butler is in it, he was kinda a big actor at some point.

You what I hate about Reign of Fire though? All the bad reviews, because I think it's an awesome movie...........So.......how many awesome movies am I missing out on because they got bad reviews? You know? I don't have time to "try" every movie out there, but I've probably missed some great ones because of a bad rating. Oh well!

Lots I would imagine.

Yeah Butler was a name once, but his time seems to have passed.

The original Arnie one (did he not do more than one?) is actually a pretty bad movie, and yet it's ok because it's somehow still great.
He did. He did Conan The Destroyer too, and I believe he was in Red Sonja too.

He did one more, Conan The Destroyer, it was not great but its a fun watch... also played another barbarian in Red Sonja, but more importantly...wtf are you rambling about Conan the Barbarian being a bad movie lol

Hey look, actual Arnold Sweedhfwsdfsd posting on a pretty closed video game forum,

I was making a compliment. I was saying the movie is actually kinda crappy but still awesome, and that's because of YOU man!

So no hard feelings eh?

Hahahaha.

The only thing that gets hard here is my biceps (just ask my wife, she'll depressingly tell you).

D&D Honor Among Thieves, I loved it! had a lot of fun with it, one of the most entertaining movies I've seen in a long time.

Dungeons & Dragons: Honour Amoung Thieves

Absolutely awesome for fantasy fans, and especially for D&D fans. So many amazing references. A truly respectful treatment of the game.
Loved the cameo by the characters from the 80's cartoon towards the end, those costumes stuck out immediately lol

John Wick 4. Worst of the bunch. I actually actively kind of hated it. 5/10

Really? I still have to watch it. But it's good to get a heads up like that, then I can go into it with lowered expectations and hopefully be surprised if I enjoy it.

I enjoyed the first 3, for some reason this one felt like the stunts were....stunts. Didn't feel organic.

In order of greatness: 1 2 3 4

Yeah I'll be honest, I made it 11 minutes in and I don't know if the dude talking is the main big baddie at that point.........but his acting and accent sounded so dumb I had to bow out.

Maybe I'll get around to it again maybe not.

I'm gonna watch Dead Poets Society. Final Jeopardy clue tonight made me think of it.........Don't think I've seen it since I was like 15 years old so nearly 30 years ago.

Just got back from Guardians of the Galaxy V3.....

It was really long, but I still enjoyed it even though towards the mid-point of the movie I was already hoping they could somehow wrap it up.

The trailers were awesome though especially this one, I think I'm going to love this:
