It was more of a personal threat than a cosmic threat to the guardians….I feel like it’s kinda a setup for a later move

I didn’t know the new Avatar was hitting Disney+ already, I’ve watched some with the fam after work even on my set up holy s*** this still looks amazing lol. F the haters I like the film.

Saw Guardians Vol 3. Not a big fan of Marvel or this specific franchise but it ended up being probably my favorite of the Guardians trilogy. Action and plot absolutely absurd per standard Marvel fare, but it just resonated with me way more than the others for whatever reason. Really glad I gave it a chance.
Also Evil Dead Rise. Decent horror flick, once again liked this more than the previous reboot/remake (2013?) and it felt a little different being in an urban setting was kind of cool. I’m always looking for good horror movies since they’re so rare. Wouldn’t say this was special but had some good moments and did enjoy it - the body horror and gore shock as always starts to wear off as you get desensitized throughout the film, but I get it, that’s what Evil Dead is all about lol. Do hope we get more.

The Boogeyman - Good
They did the terrors well. Low amount of jump scares and more terror. I don’t jump, but I got a lot of goosebumps and tingling watching it. Story was an obvious metaphor, maybe.

Got our tickets for The Flash next Saturday at an XD Theater. Taking my dad and two oldest boys. Can’t wait!
Transformers:Rise of The Beasts - Was ok. What is with this franchise love for putting in annoying characters?? Blatantly racist too. And that ending was odd.

I think after FF3 is when they started to go ape s*** on fake. That said, I will continue to see them.
Finally saw John Wick 4. Enjoyed it quite a bit, but I also enjoyed it less than the first 3. I don't think JW needs to be three hours long personally.
