What movies have you seen recently?

Glass: Average
I wanted this to be a HUGE movie and it wasn't it. A very small budget meant smaller sets and visual effects. It almost seemed like a fanfic than a true sequel to be honest. Story was okay.

LEGO Movie 2: Average
Some laughs, but the movie was clearly aimed to entertain girls with the choice of characters and storyline. Still fun to see the cool builds as a LEGO fan.

That's why Sacha Baron Cohen, who I wanted as Mercury, left the project. Originally it was going to be a complete telling. Then the band put an end to that and actually wanted him to die mid way through and the second half be about the band going on without him.

The band having creative control explains why the 3 of them are saints in the movie and why it lacks any kind of drama

First Man - Some Parts in the first half could have been better with the great cast they had and the source material to pull from. 2nd half was great.

Free Solo - Anxiety

I cried during the climb. It was emotion. It shouldn’t be possible. Reassessing my life. It’s just insane.

Hedon you probably won’t be able to see it.

I will avoid it then, thank you! I don't need more of that in my life.

Halloween (2018 ) - It was decent. I did like the cinematography and overall look of the film, some of the shots were really good.

If only they hadn't written all of the men to be so useless and stupid lol. Michael looked great though, a few tweaks here and there could have made the movie so much better.

Alita: Battle Angel - Eh. Very predictable. Typical overused plot. Didn't like how it ends.

UFO (2018 ): low-budget film that makes you think math can really help us communicate with aliens. Highly reminiscent of Contact. Great movie.
