What movies have you seen recently?

Bohemian Rhapsody: 7.5/10

Great acting, but the movie does not really get into the making of the music as much as I would have liked. I also wished they had more music in it. The film did however reveal a lot about Freddy's life that I had little knowledge of, and the final performance was quite enjoyable to see being recreated.

Hellboy was “aight” it had highs and lows and parts in between that felt like it dragged a bit but it also felt fast, so, weird pacing I guess.

The sound effects were dope, better than when I went to go see Shazam.

It’s definitely a must see rental, kinda a buy if you’re into hellboy fan. I’ve never read any of the comics, and think this is better than the second flick.

Note, I was pretty tired when I went to go see it, an eleven pm showing, so that may have some impact on how I viewed/rated it.

Glass - Years ago I never thought we would ever get a sequel to Unbreakable it was a fans dream. When I saw Split I was surprised how good it was and when it hit you where that film took place it blew my mind.

Well that was a satisfying conclusion to this trilogy. I really enjoyed it and it’s great to see M Night back on top. After Six Sense and Unbreakable he became one of my favorite directors. Hopefully he can move on to more good projects.

Avengers End Game - Mixed bag...which makes it hard to rate. I'll give 7/10 but might change.

Avengers Endgame - we really enjoyed it. The last act was awesome. So many in your feels moments throughout. It was a fitting conclusion to this long run of films. The first two acts could have been a little better though and I feel like some of it could have been trimmed it did not need to be 3 hours long. Overall I think Infinity War was the better film.

Creed II - Good
Just saw it on the plane yesterday. I really liked it.
I was hoping that Drago and Creed would have bumped fists when it was all over or something to acknowledge each other as good fighters

Avengers Endgame- 9/10 - Only the Russo Brothers could have made this live up to the hype. Not the best mcu movie but a great ending

Escape Room - 6/10 but don’t be put off by the 6 decent film, decent cast.

The Mule - 7/10 a nice relaxing watch. Eastwood surprised me at his age, still got it.

Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile - 8/10 Zac Ef did a hell of a job and although the story has been told on numerous occasions it was still a good watch and didn’t seem same old, same old.

Yeah, it’s a two part just wanted to see if it was Frontline.

I am going to check out I am not your negro tonight based on your rating, I watched the trailer looks good.
I love James Baldwin, and I can just listen to him speak forever, and it told a great story with his words by him, through Samuel L. Jackson, and how everything Baldwin stood for is still relevant today.

Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile - Not great. Would have enjoyed it more if it focused more on Bundy and was less about his wife. 5/10

Detective Pikachu 8/11

this is the Pokémon world I’ve envisioned as a kid, will hit you in the feels if your a kid at heart (still moving though)... it’s like a Spielberg film where your in awe when watching, magical it is.

Avengers Endgame 10/11

the best superhero movie about superhero’s doing superhero things, with emotion, more so if you’ve kept up with all prior 21 films.

Side note, my niece cried for both of these films. Once in DP because scene familiar to first episode of Pokémon. And twice in Endgame but I’ll keep mum on them...I kinda did too
