What movies have you seen recently?

Bone Tomahawk - got around to watching this glad I did, found it on Prime. It was surprisingly good one of the most original Westerns I’ve seen in awhile. The cast carries it well and the last 30 mins are horror/gore bat s*** crazy. Recommend this one.

Really enjoyed that. It's pretty f***ed up

I couldn’t sleep last night so I continued my Western kick. Slow West was a damn good film loved the cinematography it is on Netflix and The Sisters Brothers was also pretty original as well Phoenix and Reilly made an entertaining team that is on Hulu.

Bought Shazam in 4K/HDR on digital tonight and loved it, the story was really entertaining and the colors pop off of the screen, this is probably going to be one of those movies I watch at Christmas every year.

Spider-Man Far From Home: Good

Captures most of the charm from the first one. Stingers in the end will raise eyebrows.

Side note: I hate going to the theater most of the time. If not's not someone who has the plague sitting next to me, it's a person kicking my seat from behind. I can't wait for the day when movies like these come direct to streaming.

I used to love going to the movies but the older I've gotten the less patience I have for waiting in long lines and sitting in crowded theaters full of people who don't seem to understand where they are. Phone screens constantly lighting up, people talking like they are outside etc just ruins the experience, plus I take care of my mom so being away for 3 or 4 hours to see a movie just isn't worth it to me. It helps that movies seem to get home releases about 3 months after the theatrical release now so the wait isn't too bad.

I dono how old you are and or know why that would matter, my niece is saying I’m being sassy with that lol anyways why not buy your tickets online or via an app???

Honestly I can’t remember the last time I had a bad experience at a theater. Maybe I’m just lucky I guess. Then again we do tend to go to early showings no later than 4pm on the weekends.

I'm 46 and I've just lost patience with the whole experience to be honest, too many people ruin it in the theater. It has been a long time since I've gone, I know they let you book the seats etc now but still you have to sit near someone who's going to ruin it for you lol.

Hmmm, Saturday morning opening weekends tend to be the best if you want some people to share some of the positive vibes, usually older folk at those 9am showings. One time it was like 7 of us in total.

Geez. Depending on the movie I will wait and go to an early matinee and do not go on openning weekend. I even did this for EndGame catching almost 2 weeks after release.

Now some will catch weird artsty indy flicks opening day because that usually attracts a different audience. I usually find Tarantino flicks to be this way.

Spider-Man Far From Home

Fun, kinda mature and even a bit fan-servicey.

Four out of Four.

Fury is a hypocrite/dick, still love him thou

Rocketman: Pretty good. I love Elton's music, but I'm not a fan of musicals. This was more akin to a musical. Great performances though and interesting story.

Spiderman: Far From Home - 6/10, One of the weaker MCU movies imo, homecoming was far better (i re-watched that a week ago too so its fresh in my mind)

best part was by far the mysterio's illusions, there was too much playing for comedy imo and 90% of it was predictable and not funny to me. the "love triangle" was also too cliche
