Space...the final frontier

Basically, a visiting Chinese from Beijing, a plumber comes here to visit some relatives in San Fran....He promptly captures the neighbor's german shepard and BBQ it! He's excuse? "mesa asa stupido "Chinese", mesa wuv easa Doggies!!!! Mesa no help mesa self!!!! Mesa no commit no crime!!!!!"

As a Chinese-American, this makes me sick! I can tell you right off the bat, only a minority of Chinese eat dog meat and now, even a lot of Chinese are against that dog meat festival! This is no excuse! Throw this guy ass in jail and then revoke his visa! Make sure he never come back here again! And arrest his relatives also for being complacent in this!

That's f*cked up. Hopefully he didn't invite the neighbors over for BBQ.

Da fuq? Let's just ignore the moral dilemma of eating your neighbors dog, how could anyone think it's legally okay to just steal someone else's property and start grilling it? If my neighbor came in and just started taking food out of the fridge without asking, I'd f***ing calling the cops! Personally, I'm not entirely against the concept of eating dogs. Tons of dogs get euthanized everyday in America everyday, but that's besides the point. These guys took it upon themselves to take something that didn't belong to them. They deserve every bit of legal consequence thrown at them.

Hey, he offered to get the neighbors a new dog, to replace the old, cooked one. What else do you want the guy to do?

Actually, I think he should be chopped up, BBQ'd, and served for dinner to the dogs in the local animal shelter.

I guess you can say ''he likes it doggystyle''.

I'll see myself out.

Sicko! lol

As far as the story, I'm sorry but even though some people may eat dogs for various reasons in other parts of the world it's not ok to do here and people visiting should know that. I just hope he didn't beat and torture it, that seems to be part of the custom in China.

This guy is awesome, I love that he's doing something about it.

That's extreme, even by John Wick standard.

Because it happens quite a lot in China! While living there, that's all I heard. If you have a dog, you better keep it on a leash all the time and watch his every move! The instant he goes out on his own...It's bye bye time! Someone will simply kidnap him and turn him into a nice delicious BBQ! Rule of law? Rule of WHAT law? The most is a 50$ fine for the perp and that 's it! These guys think the same rules apply here until they get slapped full in the face by American reality! This is what happened last year in California also. What happened was some stupid idiotic Chinese high school students went on a rampage on another Chinese girl because she looked at the "alpha" female boyfriend of the group funny. They ended up torturing her by burning her nipples with a cigarette butt, cut off her hair and forced her to eat it etc. Their thinking? "Come on, in China at most we get expelled out of the school, we just move to a new area, our rich parents pay some bribe money and all is well!" Well, unfortunately, this is California, the good ol' U.S. of A, where torturing people like that can get you a life sentence! 2 of the kids ran immediately for China when they heard that. Four others yawned and decided nothing is gonna happen...Until they are in the court room when the judge informed them of the penalty! Then they realized they may have just ruined their freaking life!

Wow. I admire the hell out of him.

And some of that is f*cking disturbing.

Eat the meat if you have to. But stop torturing them. Sick f*cks.

Yeah it's sickening to see that, I'm not a violent person at all but if I saw someone doing that to a dog I think I'd lose it. As far as the OP story, if that was my dog, I think I'd end up in jail for murder. I'm not saying it's right to kill a person or that an animals life is worth more than a human but I know how much I love my 4 legged brat and I don't think I'd be able to control myself in a situation like that.

I've seen videos where they skin the dogs alive. I couldn't stomach it.

I'm having a hard time "unseeing it." As he says, once you've seen it, it's hard to unsee it. I only saw a few brief shots in that video. I can't imagine what it would be like to be him, seeing it for hours on end, day after day. I'm not surprised it broke him, destroyed him. I only saw a few seconds and hours later, I'm still sick over it. I keep getting mini-flashbacks. I feel guilty for sitting here talking about videogames when something like that is happening. I feel like I should quit my job, board the first plane to China, and go Rambo on everyone involved. Then I calm down, remember that my physique (and temperament) is more Richard Dreyfuss than Sylvester Stallone, and settle for a donation.

It frustrates me that I can't do more, though. I hate the idea of this happening. It literally makes me sick.

I don't get why he would do that. If he wanted to eat dog that badly all he had to do was get some Chinese food on his way to his relatives house. Or do they only put cat in their egg rolls these days? Who knows. What a sick world.

Yeah, I had always heard about the eating dog thing and I always thought it was sickening but I also figured who am I to judge? maybe the people in those areas don't have many other choices and they probably don't form the bond we do with our dogs here. Once I found out about the torture and boiling alive etc that changed my mind from it being a cultural thing to it just being a cruel and stupid thing.

Interesting. Dogs understand us in a way other animals do not.

That was pretty cool! Of course any of us who own dogs know how to read them and it seems like they can read us as well.

The thing about the guys eating their neighbour's dogs is doubly stupid. How about the fact these Chinese guys just stole another person's property with no shame.

Hey, I think my neighbour has a better TV than me. Hmmm..... you know what? I'm just going to go over there when he's not home and take it. Thanks bud!

Is that what it's like in China? If you're hungry, just grab whatever dog you see?
