Watched the first episode of The Blacklist. I gotta agree with what everyone else is saying, Spader was awesome.

Agreed. His performance has allayed any fears I had of him being the big bad in Avengers 2. Not that I really need to worry, I've yet to see anything with Joss at the helm that I haven't thoroughly enjoyed.

And yes, that includes Dollhouse.

Looking forward to the new season of Big Bang Theory this week. I don't care what anyone says, that show is funny.

How can anybody doubt any character Spader does? The character could be a poorly written Kevin Smith character and Spader would knock it out of the park.

Also just watched Blacklist last night. Wow, was great, definitely lived up to all the hype it's been getting and Spader is perfect for this role!

I liked it. I was actually waiting for the fireflies to do what happens at the end, not for it to just happen out of the blue.

Still, intriguing so I'll be watching next week for sure.

Agreed, I'm sure I'll watch the entire season. I'm invested in the story at this point and it seems like Revolution might be going down an even more sci-fi route so that should be interesting.

I also like what's going on with Charlie and (let's just call him) "That Dude", that should be very interesting. My take is that the nanites are going to basically give people super powers of a sort. At least that's the impression I got from a season 2 teaser but I could just as well have misinterpreted it.

Also enjoyed Revolution last night, liked the six months jump and then them filling us in a bit on what happened in between. A hardened Charlie is more interesting to watch, liked what happened with the fat dude (not as heavy this season though) but did find that bit predictable at the end. Definitely looking like there will be more of a sci-fi twist this season and I'm happy with that!

Just saw Episode 1, season 6 of Sons of anarchy. That is a pretty bold ending. I'm shocked I have not seen page upon page of outrage over it.

Have to say though, after losing interest near the end of season 4. I did enjoy watching it again. Got Episode 2 & 3 ready to go:grin:

Blacklist and Sleepy Hollow aired today. Out of the two I'm definitely preferring Blacklist. Sleepy Hollow gets a bit too... out there, at times (for me at least). I'm finding it a little predictable too, but I'll stick with it for a while to see how it develops. Blacklist on the other hand I am really liking, it's been said before, but Spader's character is just awesome.

I think this might of slipped under the radar but i watched Banshee a couple months ago and it's a very enjoyable drama/thriller. I'm a bit biased towards it because the star is a kiwi. But everyone seemed to enjoy it on IMDB and i think it's nearly on par with Breaking Bad.

Some real brutal fighting scenes too.

Masters of Sex - Episode 3: Think this was the weakest Episode thus far, but still enjoyed it.

Boardwalk Empire - season 4, episode 5: Loved it.

Up next: Homeland - season 3, episode 2

Homeland: Season 3, episode 2 - I can not believe what they're doing to Carrie. Just silly.

Tomorrow People - Caught the Premiere of this new sci-Drama show and I kind of liked it. Lets see where it goes.

Hostages - Caught the pilot episode and enjoyed it. Thought Dylan McDermott was very good.

Making my way through Wallander with Kenneth Branaugh. He does a good job of playing a cop whose life is in a tailspin (divorce, father suffering from dementia, isolation, alcohol and pills, etc). Depressing, but I like it. It takes place in Sweden, where attitudes toward guns and violence are apparently very different than they are over here. For instance, Wallander has a real crisis of conscience over shooting and killing a bad guy. In your normal cop show, it's just time for a grimace and reload.

Got round to watching the season opener for Arrow. Pretty good, but damn did it set up a lot of story arcs for the rest of the season, hopefully that won't result in the show getting a bit messy towards the latter end of the season.

Got round to watching the first two or three episodes of Elementary season 2 as well. I don't feel that the show is especially great at anything, but for me it just doesn't do anything badly. It's just a consistently good show to watch.

Me and the wife been watching some of the new shows.

Blacklist - love it great new show.
Hostages - love it is really good.
Agents of Shield - good getting better
Sleepy Hollow - decent show so far

Also catching up on Revolution i have 6 episodes of season 1 left and recorded the new ones. Show is getting better looking forward to what happens.

Have the Walking Dead season 4 opener to watch. Season 3 was the weakest for me.

Some of the new shows really have been enjoyable. That for me usually isn't the case. Except for S.H.I.E.L.D everything else has exceeded my expectations.

Masters of sex - Fantastic
Black List - really good.
Sleepy Hollow - Good.

I'm also really enjoying the new season of older shows.

Boardwalk Empire
Elementary
Walking Dead
Homeland

Hostages is also a great new show. And i agree Shield has not been that good.
I did catch the pilot to Hostages and found it decent, but have not watched it further. Will have to see If I can get them all for a sunday night watch.

I'm in the mood to see some Sleepy Hollow. Gonna see if it's available on-demand for my Xfinity.

We also watched a few episodes of the MJF Show. I loved MJF movies growing up so its cool seeing him back in a role. Show is ok i guess, but i do not see it lasting.
