Breaking Bad is a classic no doubt but The Wire and Sopranos are the GOATS!

Chernobyl fantastic.
Gammorah season 4 started of very well.

I can't wait for the return of Ozark.

Oh and

f*** GAME OF THRONES!!
I started watching the wire the year they started focusing on those school kids, it was really well done and really made me feel for kids in those situations. How are their lives supposed to get any better when they start out in situations like that? Great show.

Look friend I appreciate your anti Game of Thrones take at the end and that almost saves it but its not allowed to talk about GOATs while leaving out The Shield. I am going to have to kindly ask that you leave this thread and never post ever again. Thank you.

I stopped watching the Wire in season 2. That season was so bad I couldn't get past it.

I started Good Omens on Amazon. Really good so far and a lot of fun.

Saw Good Omens and Chernobyl recently. Two great short mini-series. One great drama and one great comedy that I recommend watching. Both are about in the 5-6 episode range and could be finished in a single binge. Chernobyl was excellent. Probably the best series I've seen this year. It's shocking, compelling, and familiar. It's really a tale about the consequences of government secrets/incompetence on both a national and local level. It's also shocking how they show the poor people who were closest to the radiation and died horribly from it.
Good Omens is a fun and satirical take on Armageddon and Christian iconography in general. The angel and demon who are the protagonists of the show make for a great odd couple and really are the driving force. They're fun to watch, but so is the world around it. Heaven and Hell are this sort of bureaucratic forces, and they even touch on important historical periods of the bible.
Would recommend watching them separately.

I finished Good Omens. I liked it. Only 6 episodes so not a major commitment.

I'm starting Bad Blood now on Netflix. Yet another mob show, but so far interesting (I'm only a few episodes in). Kim Coates is the star (the guy who played Tig from Sons of Anarchy).

For the Chernobyl crew make sure to check out the podcast if you haven't yet. Great companion piece that goes mostly scene by scene and how it stacks up to what really happens as well as giving a bit more background where needed.

Recently started Farscape. I remember when it first aired we didn't have Syfy at the time, so it was just a free week type of thing probably to promote that show. After that I remember seeing random episodes but never got the chance to go through it all. Now that it's on Amazon in its entirety I'm finally watching it. Still holds up today imo. Plus Claudia Black is so easy on the eyes.

Netflix taking The Office off NBC in 2021 to put on their own platform. Curious as to how many people cancel their service because of this?

Also, I'm sure they'll take Parks and Rec off too. Might buy the Box Set at this point on Blu Ray and rip it to my Plex Server.

I finished Castle Rock. The Queen = Greatness. Sissy Spacek was amazing! I also really liked the episode Henry Deaver it really blows your mind. Overall I enjoyed the show, looking forward to another season.

Starting 11.22.63 next. Very interesting concept and a look at history. Right up my alley.

Started Chernobyl today. First two I watched were good.

On a side note, if theres one thing the social media age has taught us it's that the government outright lies and downplays any kind of major catastrophe. So if you're living anywhere near a nuke plant or chemical factory or active volcano or whatever the case may be and it looks like sh^ts going sideways... play it safe and just get the fuk outta Dodge pronto.
